“I have ordered from this crew several times. The service is impeccable— the team was willing to omit cheese, were friendly and helpful, and had a sense of humor. One of our party is a loyal fan of their empanadas. La Arepa NE served us our first arepas and we were hooked! The sauces are distinct and delicious. There are dairy free and vegan options. Best of all, it feels good to support a business where their cooks are talented AND deliver superb customer service. This truck is the shining star in this pod. Highly recommended.“

“I tried the reina pepiada which was pretty good tasting but did not blow me away. It came with a a side of maduros. The pricing is fairly steep, with the arepas ranging from $12-$15. For comparison, La Arepa has vegan arepas for $9-$10. I do not feel that the pricing is competitive for a food cart. That said, this place is worth checking out.
