Best of the area, I would eat here everyday. This place has been a locals favorite for a long time. The staff for excellent and go beyond in many ways. They take good ingredients, prepare them well, and present them in a way that presents their best individual qualities.

The go to place for us when we want to eat out. The food is awesome, the owner and his staff are welcoming and friendly, the seating, indoors and outdoors in different little spaces and a patio out back are relaxed and pleasantly informal.

Really unique restaurant in Multnomah Village. It's sort of like a food cart with some indoor and outdoor seating, each room with a unique theme..The kitchen is kinda spread out throughout the restaurant. The owner is really cool and super friendly. The bentos we had were really good as well. I've never seen a restaurant set up quite like this but the eclectic nature of it screams Portland. We will be back.

Unique and fun ambience. Great service and authentically friendly. Totally feels like visiting a friend's house. Food very yummy and healthy. Servings enough for us but on the smaller side. Can take a while for the food to be prepared but worth the wait.

The food was great, the chef did a great job cooking the food, fresh and flavorful! Good price too! Would like to come back to try new dishes! The place is so cute, I like the decorations and environment, it makes you feel like a cozy cabin that services homemade food!

My mom and I had a wonderful time here. The vibe is warm and homey, the wine and food we tried were all great, and the portions were perfect!

Very fresh and tasty food. We had the tuna poke and pan seared halibut. It was delicious, and the Thai ginger sauce was the icing on the cake! Nice people too. We will be back.

Happened to be passing through Portland and mentioned that after several nights of dining out featuring beef, I was in the mood for Halibut of all things. Found this hidden gem on Yelp and made the trek to tiny Multoma village to check it out. We were greeted right from the tiny kitchen by owner and chef J. He said they were really busy but if we don't mind waiting he would love to cook us dinner. So knowing there was a brewpub next door to check out I said sure thing. We were not disappointed. The halibut was fresh and perfectly cooked with a special seasoning that I am going to have to figure out for the future. My family also ordered the blackened salmon and the steak and shrimp. The steak was actually better than a recent steak house adventure. What gives? Turns out J just wants to deliver a nice affordable fresh meal that isn't saturated with salt. Indeed, not huge portions but freshness and quality for the price in a quaint environment. Even the other mostly local clientele were friendly and welcoming. Overall a very delightful experience. Well done!

The fish is fine, but we just waited an HOUR and watched the waitresses bring out food for tables that had come way after us. I finally went in and asked if they'd forgotten our order and the guy cooking the fish said, "Oh...uh...are you m... you guys had the halibut and the ahi? ...Yeah, we had...uh...I'll bring it right out in one minute." After five minutes while two more orders went past us, a waitress FINALLY brought out fish that took about three minutes to seat with some rice and crunchy vegetables, which means he made it AFTER I went and asked. ,:( No offer of a free soda or something. I'd ask if I wasn't so irritated. This is NOT where I'll ever come again when I'm hungry.
