10/10 This is a great coffee spot for studying and working. Incredible service from Aaron behind the counter. Also great music taste for study and work. The staff were attentive and jovial with each other. The atmosphere is aesthetic and clean and cozy, but not overly cozy--a very modern industrial style that I find conducive to work or deep thinking. Plenty of south-facing windows means a flood of light which I actually had to retreat from, but this is overall a great thing!! I can imagine during the 4 months of deep winter this is a huge boon, and lovely at all other times of year. The location is hugely helpful as it's on the waterfront with easy access to any part of the city within a short drive. This is a great option I'll be revisiting.

Their seasonal drinks are really fun, our favorite this visit was the S'mores Mocha with peppermint marshmallow (good artisan-style marshmallow too)! The veggie breakfast burrito was also choice. The only downside is that their menu appears to rotate but we couldn't find an accurate menu anywhere online. That being said, some of the Google food/drink photos for this location (like the donuts and loaded waffle) are old photos and weren't offered when we went, so don't be misled! :)

The 3 of us shared the 3 specialty drinks and they were quite tasty - the gingerbread molasses latte was a bit bland but the s'mores drink and sugar cookie matcha latte were a hit. We also shared the veggie burrito, very good. We took a blueberry muffin to go and that was a bit disappointing as it only had like 4 blueberries in it but it was otherwise yummy. I think we'd come back though - good service and fun, upbeat atmosphere!

I love water ave! It’s right by my work thankfully. The people who work here have always been nice, the coffee does the job and tastes great doing it. I always by water ave beans too, ever since the first bag. Thank you Water Ave! :)

Relaxed coffee shop with local brews. Definitely my favorite in Portland. I’m pretty picky about my americanos as I like them black, this place has the smoothest iced americanos. Absolutely delicious.

Another local name ruined by big holding company. The remodel sanitized the interior into a lifeless empty space. All the old charm is gone. Deeply saddened since the kitchen is gone. No more fresh made breakfast sandwiches or burritos. There are dozens of good coffee shops in Portland but it's very hard to find a good sandwich AND good coffee at the same spot. We used to drive across the city to get a spicy egg sandwich and latte. :( good luck.

High end coffee with plant-based milk options. Artsy and chill in a hip ‘lil section of central industrial eastside. Lots of fun shops in close walking distance.

Lovely spot… delicious lattes with alternative milks available. We enjoyed a veggie burrito, an apple butter scone (so perfectly done!), and a cookie. Looking forward to returning.
