The experience that John and Douglas provide during this six course meal is thoroughly delectable to the taste buds. The flavors they serve up make you want to close your eyes and enjoy the bliss of every bite. What I also greatly appreciate is their non-alcoholic drink pairing that is out-of-this-world delicious. I love this dining experience!

Superb, prix fixe tasting menu in an intimate space. Feels like being invited over to a friend's home for dinner, if that friend happened to be a gourmet chef. Inventive beverage pairings and warm, friendly service from chef/owners John and Doug. Can't wait to go back!

Willow is our favorite Portland restaurant. The food is always amazing and so creative. Beverage pairings are well thought out and being able to interact with the chefs/owners, Doug and John is always fun and informative. They always have great music too. John creates a new playlist for every evening!

An elevated dining experience you must try at least once. The chefs enjoy what they do and their creations show it. Each course is introduced by the chef with an explanation of the inspiration, techniques used, and/or ingredients. If you opted for a pairing, the pairing choice is also explained. Their is a non alcoholic pairing too which was actually very good. If you're a solo diner, you will be perfectly fine here. The community dining experience left me feeling very comfortable.

Came home to PDX to visit friends and family and we came to Willows it has always been a good place to eat and hang, i love the family feeling when you are here, and the only reason why i am giving Willow a 4 star is that my food came out cold, but they took it back and fixed it but then 17 minutes later my friends food came out cold, so I'm not sure if they are leaving the food on the counter and forgetting but they did make things right so we really appreciate that, thank you. Will definitely be back the customer service was good the staff was fast and the food as always taste delicious. Just try it you are in PDX for any reason.
Food is incredible as always, amazing and friendly service. You get 1 on 1 interaction with the chef, they will answer any questions and appreciate any feedback. They do a great job of pairing the wines to really highlight the dishes.

Willow is hands down our favorite restaurant in Portland. The food is creative and delicious with an amazing attention to detail. This is a great restaurant for foodies! John, Doug with help from Danielle, make you feel very welcomed! Only downside, if you have to plan way in advance to dine there. They have small, intimate dinners so you need to book a few months in advance. It is worth the wait!

We had a delicious dinner. Clearly a lot of planning, and choosing if the best ingredients went into this meal. The flavors were amazing and the pairings with the wine and beer made the meal even more outstanding. The staff was so welcoming and offered the right amount of service. We wIll be back !
We love Willow, the food is always incredible. This was put forth time coming here. This time we went here on a date with my husband and another couple. The space is perfect and elegant in its simplicity. My favorite dishes are always ones that include food that I normally don't like. John and Doug are truly culinary masters.
