Best beer, battered fish, and chips made with halibut that I have found in Portland Oregon. It's a bar so kids aren't allowed. Service is fast and friendly and the halibut. Fish and chips are very reasonably priced. Check out their weekly specials.

I have lived in Parkrose for 30 years and this was my first visit to the Woodenchicken. We walked in and we were able To find a seat easily. We sat down and we were promptly greeted by a male Server. He took our drink order and promptly returned with our drinks. He knew the right time to return and take our food order. I had the Ruben and my husband had the mushroom Swiss burger both with French fries. We really enjoyed ourselves. The bar was clean and had lots of things to look at. They had the screens with professional sports playing on each one. I would recommend this place 10/10
