I'm not religious but some people's hands are anointed. The food here is truly made with love and you can feel it. The oxtail, the jerk chicken, the rice and peas, all delicious. I'm from the south and this takes me home. Authentic, flavorful, and staff that makes you feel welcome. Where I'm from, you get one of two things from a Jamaican restaurant, good customer service or good food. Here you get both. It's a family operation and I've yet to try something I haven't loved. There's a reason I went here every day for a week straight and will keep coming back. Genuinely my favorite restaurant since I've moved out here 4 years ago

Food was ok but the service was really bad. I think it's overpriced for what you get.

Ya-Mon. Irie vibrations, great folks, great food. Miss me some good Jamaican food. Stew chicken, jerk chicken, oxtail, patties, and wash it down wit a Ting...Sadly it's a bit of a trek to get to, or I'd be there more often. Stop on in a say Wah Gwaan. You'll notice I already represent JA with my profile pic of the Jamaican Flag.

Authentic. Yaadie here from Jamaica. I have lived on the west coast now for 10 years and very happy I finally found this place. If you are Caribbean you will know what I mean. I would go as far as to say, best not just in Pacific North West but the entire West Coast. If you are not Caribbean, this is the standard. Getting ready to call my mom and let her know of her competition.

10/10 Everything. My sister and I both got the oxtail and it was perfectly cooked, perfect portions, perfect flavor. The oxtail, plantains, veggies, and rice and beans were amazing and the young gentlemen working were very kind and funny. The place is also really cute and cozy inside with good music. Looking forward to going back very soon.

I really like Caribbean food, so I wanted to like this restaurant, but I was disappointed with the service and the food here. The person serving behind the counter and at the table seemed apathetic. I ordered the jerk pork and it seemed like the pork had been reheated more than once. Also the vegetables were mush. As for the price, this is the highest priced Jamaican restaurant by far, and the food and service do not merit the price they are charging.Parking: Parking lot located a few doors away on same side as restaurant.

Food was great! A young guy working there at the time was a bit cold and put off. That was a few years ago, so he might be gone. The owner was very nice though!

Horrible service and beef patties. $40 for a plate of curry too expensive and 6 for a patty. Nah, never will be back. Your food lacks flavor and not worth the price.

This hole-in-a-wall Black owned place is a hidden gem in NE/N Portland. The food is top notch with tons of flavors. The owner and staff are friendly and willing to help with with menu choices. There is tight parking next to the restaurant, but free parking just north on the other side of the building. Dine in, takeout and the usual delivery services available.

Bumbaclaaaaaat delicious jerk plates with awesome rice and beans, sweet plantains, cabbage and carrots, and BBQ sauce. Try the Pineapple Ginger "sof drink" from the maker of Red Stripe, or just have a Red Stripe!Heading north on MLK there is a parking lot just past the building complex (just past liquor store).

Absolutely love the food here! This casual restaurant serves up flavorful and mouth watering Jamaican food. I've had their food catered and I've eaten in before. They have wonderful service for catering, and you'll need to call or email Jacqueline. I highly recommend the curry shrimp and brown stew tofu, but its all delicious!
