This place is basically run by kids. But that isn't the problem because they are some hard working young people who hustle the pizza oven and are very friendly. The problem is the ingredients are very cheap. It seems all ingredients come off the Sysco or food service truck. Pizza sauce is extremely acidic as it's a very cheap sauce. The dough is just way too doughy with the crust being too soft, doughy and basically unedible. Crust weighs about 60% of the pizza itself. The cheese is very cheap as well, overall I would give the pizza a 3 out of 10. I only gave an extra star for the good service and seeing the youngsters working very hard in the shop. It's very similar to the cheap delivery chains that also use such cheap ingredients, but these pizzas cost upwards of 30 bucks.

I've been a faithful Cibellis customer for at least a decade, so I was beside myself when I saw the shrunken menu. But the crust is still my favorite and we had out-of-towners here and we've always gotta get a giant pizza to make people ooh and aah. They usually love the pizza too. But unfortunately this time the size was all that was impressive. Maybe it was the slightly burnt crust but I could swear they changed the dough too. I'm sure some of this is just cutting costs and overhead and I totally get that , but it went from iconic to just a neighborhood pizza place in just one visit. Hope it was a fluke.

At barely 7:30, (they close at 9), we are told by the snotty teenagers that they are out of slices. Really? You have an hour and a half before you close, that's literally what you are known for, maybe make more? What a joke. They pay these kids $20 plus an hour but they refuse to do their jobs.

Very disappointed in this pizza. 35 dollars for a spinkle of sausage, a scatter of pepperoni. Apparently the dough cost 33 dollars and then you get 2 dollars worth of toppings. Very Very sad. Definitely will not ever waste my money here again.

Called in a pizza today - the Margarita. Absolutely nothing was said to me like, "We don''t have that on our menu anymore. All toppings will be double. What an interesting fact to leave out. This place is so very unprofessional. When you order a pizza always ask the person you are speaking to to state it back to you. If you don't it will come out wrong!!!!

The first time I went here about 6 months ago was the first time I had ever been to a savelli's. It was absolutely delicious! I couldn't believe how good the cheese was whatever mixture they use of Parmesan or regular asiago God knows what The mixture is just perfect it's so good and it never turns to a cheese bubblegum ball in your mouth. I've gone back twice counting the visit this weekend. And neither time has it been nearly as good. This last time it's like they were running out of cheese there was hardly any cheese on it. The first time it was just covered with toppings and the other day there was about eight bits of sausage on the whole large pizza and maybe 9 slices of ham.

By far the best pizza in town, no contest. But I felt compelled to write a review because of the staff. They are some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. They are always polite, cheerful, extremely pleasant and hustle!
