Went to all the trouble to pick out some nice wines for my wife's birthday. As I was checking out I was informed that I needed my Drivers license to purchase alcohol but had left it in my car. Being handicapped I didn't have the time or energy to go out and come back in. Both the cashier and the manager were insistent (Rude) that their policy was unbreakable with this 70 year old senior citizen. Please allow your folks to use their COMMON SENCE. They both felt stupid trying to enforce a policy! Either way you will not see me in Safeway again!

Here we go again. Nice checker but as always I watch each item being rung up especially the sale items. Caught them today. Bagels should have been $3.49 on sale. Discount did NOT come off at the end. I had clipped the deal some issue there. Checker sent me to CS where I encountered Linda E.. Gave me attitude as I'm the one who's time was wasted. Asked for the manager bur never showed. Linda accused me of an attitude...perhaps she should work in the back where she has no contact with customers. No sorry and no thank you for the trouble.

The staff here is always so sweet, regardless of the obstacles that come their way. I've seen some pretty obnoxious customers and I'm always impressed with the responses from the staff. I'm really glad that they are at my local Safeway.

I stopped in to get a flu shot and was told I had to make an appointment on line. I returned home, went on line, made an appointment for Sunday, and received an email confirmation. When I arrived for the appointment I was told they are happy to take appointments for Sunday but they only give the shots Monday through Friday, and I needed to make a new appointment. I returned home, went on line and made an appointment for Monday afternoon. Again I received an email confirmation. When I arrived for my appointment I was told they are happy to accept appointments for the afternoons but they only give shots from 9-11 am. Why would anyone trust these people to get fill their prescription correctly? It also shows a total lack of integrity to accept appointments that they have no intention of fulfilling.

Don't come on the weekend for covid shot even if you schedule a appointment online. They won't call and tell you that are not doing shots on the weekend. Waste of time.

My wife and I decided to go in for some food, I got the Chinese food and she got some chicken tenders.Our food was absolutely terrible we both threw it away without finishing it I would definitely not recommend eating it.

I went to the Deli to see if they were going to put out a Spinach Salad out that I have regularly purchased from other Safeway's. Today May 14th at 11:30am. There were 3 ladies talking and had zero interest to help me. There were very few salads left, and they said that is it for the day. I shopped there quite a bit, but will no longer. Their attitude really stank.

The prices at this particular Safeway are rather high, and it's usually pretty busy, which means slow service. However, there are two managers here who are amazing: Taylor (brunette, if there are multiple Taylors) and Hannah (blonde, if there are multiple Hannahs). I was a cast member at Disneyland back in the day, so my expectations for customer service are high. The Safeway management team is lucky to have Taylor and Hannah on board. Both women are kind and gracious, giving you time and attention when you ask for it. And damn, they even walk you to the product that you're looking for when you ask for it's location! Whatever Safeway is paying these two women, it's not enough. Treat Taylor and Hannah better, or a company with more money will steal them from you. They are amazing ambassadors to a store who needs more amazing ambassadors.

My wife and I were asked to leave because one of the cashiers felt my Trump 2020 mask was not covering all of my nose even though the young man self checking out just before me his mask was just covering his chin. I’m done shopping at Safeway. We went to Logan’s market and spent our 140.00.
