I like burrito shops. Some are better than others but by and large it's hard to totally screw a burrito. Unless you're unfortunate enough to go to Taco Del Mar. The girl who tried to serve me was totally lost. Started with asking me if I wanted rice or beans. I said beans please she immediately put rice on it. I politely corrected her, she then proceeded to scraped the rice off the tortilla back into the steam table rice dish. She put beans on it and then as I requested shredded beef unfortunately rather than drain the liquid from the beef with scoop she just threw it on resulting beef juice running off the preparation area in front of her on to the floor and into the steam table!! Disgusting. She acted as if this was normal and ask me what else I'd like on my doggy disgusting burrito!!!. Then when I was stupid enough to actually by the thing she couldn't print me a receipt. Eventually did with the help of her coworker. Got home and food was cold through and through. So threw it out because it was totally gross and for safety.

Built the burrito with different toppings, compared to the other Taco Del Mar locations. Also, the pico was just plain tomato, no onion, salt, etc...

Let the reviews speak for themselves STAY AWAY. Went in and we had never been but had a coupon. The moment we walk In there is steam on the glass door. It's cold outside so I don't think much of it. We stand back trying to decide what we should try. Within seconds the only person working is harassing us about ordering. I decide first to give my S/O a chance to keep looking. the nachos she says "would you like beans ? " then acts almost insulted when I say no. Then quickly says what kind of meat would you like. I decided on chicken, and I wish I hadn't she scoops up the chicken, and then says oh wow the smell almost made me sick... BECAUSE THATS WHAT I WANT TO HEAR. We get home and our food is already cold we live 5 min away. Neither of us could finish the food as it was tasteless and to say the least utterly disgusting. Even the black olives tasted bad. Black olives , pretty hard to mess up. Gross just gross. Worried I will be sick tonight.

Ordered for delivery at around 5 and wanted delivery at 630. Called not 10 min later and asked to have the lettuce from the tostada put on the side. The rude girl told me they had already made my food. I told her it's not do to pick up for over an hour and that wasn't a safe food standard. She did not care!! If they don't change their practice and learn safe food handling they are going to make someone really sick!!! Is that person going to be you?
We always love Taco Del Mar and they totally delivered here! Great service and the food was perfect!
