We were very disappointed in the food for the price we paid. Had to take the food back home and wrap it. I don't recommend eating here. The wraps were cut in the middle and open at both ends. Could of went to a nice restaurant for the price.

The people working here were nice. Unfortunately, the sandwiches were nothing to write home about. Mediocre at best. I don't think we will come back and I really wanted this place to be good. We just moved to Roseburg and we are looking for a good sandwich shop.

I wanted to try a new place and Between The Buns had clam chowder and deli sandwiches. The place is in a shopping center with a car wash, an Abby's, a donut shop and a different soup & sandwich shop. The place has an island vibe. The menu has a variety of classic and special sandwiches, salads and a soup of the day. The clam chowder was good-not too thick and not too thin. The corned beef sandwich wasn't quite the thick NYC deli that I was picturing but it was tasty. I recommend giving Between the Buns a try. Service was excellent and very helpful.

Best carrot cake I've ever had. Good menu choices. Clam chowder had way too much bacon in it.

Sorry don't have a pic like I thought probably cause it is so good I can't wait to eat it. We try to come here as often as we can. I absolutely love the traditional ruben.

I am highly disappointed! I have been looking for a sandwich shop that has a basil/garlic/pesto spread and this establishment offered it so I decided to give it a try.First off the spread was just that "pesto" like what you would put on noodles, it would have been good if garlic was in it.The bread was very dry "sandwich roll."Now to the amount of meat! Well after taking a bite and tasting only lettuce I opened it up and there was only 4 thin slices about the size of a hand palm on each half and the rest was mounds of lettuce! No wonder why it looked huge and was dry as it was all bread and lettuce! Cucumbers were not put on as requested. This place should be ashamed of serving sandwiches like this! A total rip off. See the 4 thin slices of turkey and off to the right is 1slice of Swiss cheese that only filled half of a half part of the sandwich.

Save your money for elsewhere folks! The bread was dry and the pesto sauce is just that Pesto that you would have on noodles and would have been better if garlic was added in it. I had 4 palm size pieces of turkey on each half a slice of swiss that did not even cover a half and mounds of lettuce! No wonder why it looked huge. I can't believe they get away with the lack of meat it's absurd! I don't know what's "in between the buns" but I can tell you what's not!

Best sandwich in all of Oregon. People can't be beet when it comes to service. I've been going since 2005 and will continue going till they aren't open anymore. Also the best ice tea in a restaurant.

Today I went into Between The Buns for the first time since it has gone under new ownership. I went in to order a sauce that we have had previously for Christmas. My daughter's visiting from out of town and this sauce has always been one of her favorite things to have at Christmas time. In fairness, I asked for the green sauce that had been made by the previous owners and didn't specifically ask for the dipping sauce. After we left we realized that the sauce that we received was nothing like the dipping sauce that we had ordered in the past. I called and asked if there was a way they could add the blue cheese dressing to the green sauce that they gave us to make the dipping sauce. They said that they couldn't and that we would have to pay $6.50 if we wanted the dipping sauce. I called once again and said I was confused by that because it would seem that they could use what we got and merely add the blue cheese dressing to make it into the dipping sauce. The owner became indignant, confrontational, and rude. Ultimately he ended the conversation by telling me if I wasn't pleased he would give me my money back but never sell me anything again. Obviously, that's an unacceptable attitude for a owner. I let him know that I would never purchase another item in the restaurant and that I would be sure to share my experience with everyone I know. Needless to say, I would not recommend eating at Between The Buns.Update In Response To Owner:I did not threaten or become angry with the employees. I was cordial with everyone I talked to with the exception of the owner and I only responded negatively to him after he spoke to me in a hostile fashion. The owner's depiction of me was blatantly inaccurate and unacceptable. If Between The Buns hopes to survive the trials and tribulations of Covid-19, the owner needs to focus on building relationships with patrons not driving them away.

Interesting decor but I'm there for the food. Was in the area and found via Yelp. Stepped in from the rain and sat down and was given a menu. I went with the roast beef sandwich and chicken noodle soup. The sandwich was good. The beef was tasty and the bread fresh. The soup was nice and warm which was great because of the rainy weather. Yummy.
