I’ve heard good things about this place from a client. I was excited to get some food and drove there to get some food to go after a long day of work. When I walked in they told me they weren’t open, this was around 9pm, their google says they close at 10:30pm on Saturday. I just ask that they change what their google page says so more people don’t waste their time and gas.

As I travel around for work, I'm always on the lookout for new places. This time was mexican. As you approach, you notice that the ambiance is very noticable. They went all out to make it feel like a mexican restaurant. The entry lobby was a bit tight, so if you had too many people waiting to be seated, it would get crowded pretty quick. This is compounded by the fact that when you leave... this is where you also pay. So it ends up being a choke point with lots of people. The good news is that we were sat fairly quick as soon as we showed up.Chips and salsa are served up. I saw some photo's in the reviews showing beans, but they didn't offer that. (Though I didn't ask either). The salsa tasted good. Had a little spice, but not over the top. The chips were ok, but not warm like at some places. As I reviewed the menu, it looked pretty standard for a full size mexican restaurant, as they had what seemed like all of the basics. One thing that caught my eye were the nickel and dime charges. Only one soda refill. Chip refills $. Anything extra had charges. For some things that you would think would be covered. Glad I didn't ask for beans to dip the chips...My friend ordered the steak fajita, and I had Arroz con Pollo. His Fajita arrived literally 'on fire'. Kind of a fun experience. He is pretty picky about his Fajitas, and he said it tasted really good. He had a decent amount of cheese, sour cream, gauc, and pico on the side.My AcP was smothered in sauce, a good balance of chicken, mushrooms, rice and cheese. I asked for no Onion, and they honored that. I did ask for a side of sour cream, but it never arrived. Thankfully, my friend doesn't eat his. The food wasn't spicy at all, but had a good flavor. I think personally, I would have wanted more chili powder and cumin, but that's me.Service was friendly, and mostly pretty fast. At the end it took some time to get the check, but otherwise they were good.... it was busy, so you have to factor that in.There are TVs in certain areas. My guess was to show sports. But Tennis was on. Slow sport day I suppose. LOLAll in all... not too bad.

The food was ok. The service was ok. But Carlos Mexican restaurant in Winston has way better food for a way better price. The enchiladas at Los Dos were very obvious that they were microwaved. And the price was kinda expensive for what we ordered.

It's not bad most of the time for food. Wait times are not long normally. Waiters are attentive at first, but don't expect much fallow up after your first bowl of mediocre salsa and stale chips. They taste like they have been triple fried from last 3 days. The beer choice is limited although it will suffice for a beer or 2 with your meal. The mixed drinks are ultra weak on alcohol. Your paying top dollar prices for triple sec, LOTS of ice and dash of mix. With a drop of alcohol. And if you actually can get somebody to bring you a second one forget about a third. No way on that one.

Pretty good, decently priced and exactly what you'd expect from a family style Mexican place. The service was good and quick. Food good too, I got shrimp a la crema, which was delicious. Most dishes come with rice and bean sides and the drinks are good.
