I went here for date night with my girlfriend. Unfortunately, I can't eat pork and every dish on the menu contains Pork except for one. After seeing that, we left and got Ibendoo Ramen. I do want to try this place, so hopefully they'll add beef or chicken to the menu in the near future.Dietary restrictions: I can't eat pork. Almost every dish on the menu contains pork. I hope they expand the menu soon.

After our first time here, this is now our new go to ramen location for Salem. Amazing flavor, larger portions than other establishments, and competitive pricing. The downside is the location is near the Cherriot's downtown transit center and tweakers can aggressively harass the business and clientele. This is of course, not the business' fault and I really don't like taking a star away for "Atmosphere" due to it, but an incident scared my child, and while no one was in any real danger, I have to note it. I recommend planning accordingly for the possibility if you are dining in.

It was my first time trying ramen. I ordered the miso ramen it was good however I do wish they different protein options than just pork. The pork dumplings were delicious

Went here for lunch during the cherry blossom festival. The black garlic ramen is legit. Probably the best broth I’ve had in oregon. FWIW I’ve eaten a lot of ramen having lived in Hawaii for 10 years and have extensively travelled to Japan. This is the flavor in Ramen I was looking for that’s sorely lacking in

Big props to the staff when I said I wasn't happy with the ramen egg (it was fully hard boiled and not gooey in the center). Before I even said why, he took one look at it and immediately agreed, then brought me two new ones that were perfect. Pics below have first batch and then the second batch (I ate 2 of them before snapping the pic)Experience was great, vibe was on point and I highly rec the takoyaki and black garlic ramen!

This really is a treat. My only criticism is that I wish they had different protein choices. The pork is great, I would just like options.Go, have an amazing meal and enjoy a lovely experience.

Great service and very yummy ramen! I ordered the mala which was way too spicy for me, so they gave me some not spicy fresh broth and I was able to mellow it out enough to taste the best ramen I have had in years!! But if you really like very very spicy go for the mala!! I can’t wait to try them

I really enjoyed eating here. It’s a small restaurant, very clean, located in downtown Salems’s Equitable Plaza. One wall is made up of windows, so it’s great for people watching. J-pop is constantly playing as background music, which adds to the ambiance, or may start to drive you crazy. This place is primarily a ramen restaurant, but also serves some rice plates. There is a large variety of side dishes as well, like spring rolls, cucumber salad, etc. Plenty of drinks to choose from, including hot teas and imported Japanese soda. For those so inclined, beer and sake is also available. They have a good variety of ramen, including veggie, seafood, and spicy varieties. I had the black garlic ramen, and oh my Lord, that broth was so rich and delicious I’m smiling right now thinking about it. It’s all served in a huge bowl with a large wooden spoon. I ordered a side of spring rolls that were very good and came with a sweet chili sauce. The person I was with ordered some takoyaki, which is apparently some kind of squid dumpling. He said they were great, and I’m just going to have to take his word for it. Chop sticks, plastic forks, and napkins are at every table, along with soy sauce and little soy sauce bowl. I definitely recommend this place. Confession: I dribbled some broth down the front of my shirt. So if it happens to you, don’t feel bad, you’re not the only one.

I'm a Japanese traveler. The real ramen doesn't taste like this. This tastes like a instant ramen noodle. No deep flavor in their soup. I'm very disappointed.
