This is one of my favorite places to shop. From prepared meals to bulk grocery items they carry everything. A bonus is the cheap gas.

This is absolutely the WORST Costco store to shop in! I went with my 85 year old mother and we both have executive memberships. We asked if we could scan all and then spit the purchase( it was over $300). I was told we could stop at a certain amt and then pay that and run the other card through. After it was all done he said if all went on one card. Never offered to fix it or apologize!!! I also asked 3 different employees where the kind bars were and 2 said they should be in section with the nuts. Yes they SHOULD BE THERE! 3rd employee went to find them and they were back by the frozen section. By thr time we got to the car, we had 3 boxes!!! Not sure how we got 3 cuz I only put 1 in thr cart! Can't your employees EVER get it right! I only have issues with this particular location. Unfortunately it is the only Costco in Salem, OR

Called to place a cake order. They still do not take orders over phone, even during this Covid. I was at the Costco off of Hwy 205 today and Just wanted to order one from Salem for the 16th. They should at least have an online ordering system, build a Costco in McMinnville, Oregon. Or change to phone orders as a Covid policy.

The Food court needs some help. The cashier was wearing gloves and taking peoples cash and with same gloves on she was handing people their cups and lids. The other lady that was doing the food should also be the one handing the cups out. A person who handles money should not be handling anything that is good or drink related. I asked her if she would please not touch my cup or lid because she just handled cash from the person in front of me and she was very nice and washed her hands and put new gloves on. In order for gloves to work if she is going to handle cups and lids and money then she would need to change gloves a lot and wash her hands so I recommend she not do both.. other than that my cashier who rang my groceries up was very sweet and kind so was her partner..

threatening people who are their property in their vehicles who do not have a mask on is rude. managers and employees are horrible about it and I'm sure they had more people anyways in their stores then allowed by Browns mandate.

I am sure that everyone is aware of the devastating fires sweeping through California and Oregon. Well, most of my Oregon family has been displaced for the last 7 days. My parents, aunt, brother, cousins, great cousins, and friends we call family were evacuated in the middle of the night. No time to pack, just get out immediately. My parents did not have a RV like most of my family members. They literally left in their truck with the dog, medications, a case of water and a bag of masks. I can't even imagine the fear these people have had not knowing if they will have a home to come back to. After two days of camping out with family and friends, my parents were lucky to get into a hotel room, thanks to my brother. Today, they had a knock on their hotel room door. The local Costco (Salem, Oregon) along with the amazing staff at Santiam Hospital delivered this care package to people evacuated and displaced by these fires. There are no words to express the thoughtfulness of this company. My parents are 80 and this is not easy for them, or anyone for that matter. Thanks Costco for such a generous gift. It's great to see acts of kindness in a time of such tragedy and heartache. Be safe everyone.

Normally I would say I love Costco but the exception is Gift Cards! If you order one to be sent to a loved one you will never know if they got it! I called customer service after 11 days and the wait time was 88 minutes! but then they hung up on me! I called my local store, where we both live, and was given the run around by the guy and basically he didn't/couldn't help me! So don't order a gift card to be delivered!!!!

I went to Costco on 9/1/2020. It was pretty hot out, and I am currently seven months pregnant. Two nice workers collecting carts came over and helped me load my truck without being asked. They definitely didn't have to do that, but it was so appreciated. I wish I had got their names.

While generally I love Costco. Today (7/20/20), in the twenty minutes I was in the store I saw 7 employees either not wearing or wearing improperly, a mask. Do better.
