Came in yesterday to buy some lunch ordered less than 20 minutes ahead of time. Arrived only to receive chicken tortilla soup with no warmth you could feel from the container. I stepped outside took one sip and realized it was cold. So was the enchiladas that I ordered as well. Definitely got an awkward cold attitude from the lady at the front when I went back in to ask about it.

Not very friendly especially if you don’t speak Spanish. Food was so so. Rice was very bland and no flavor. It has been a while since we had eaten here. Seems the recipes have change. Granddaughter was with us and she took one bite of rice and said ick, clearly one can see she didn’t eat anything. It appears they don’t care about customers because they really didn’t check on us.

They have the best tacos in town. They are really nice hard working people. It's my favorite place to eat. Come and support a small business.
There are so many Mexican Food options in Salem that this place really needs to up their game. We arrived and waited in the entry way for almost 10 minutes as employees walked by and completely ignored us. When we were finally seated they took us to the bar area, which was fine, but then we sat there for about another 10 minutes before anyone came to bring us water, chips & salsa and finally take our order. I ordered the braised lamb shank (Borrego) that looked delicious, but was pretty gamey. It was nice and tender however and when I added salsa, cilantro and onion to the broth it made it better. More expensive than most Mexican places as well. We will not be going back.

Visiting Salem and saw this nice looking restaurant on the side of the road. The atmosphere was great, the staff was super friendly, and the food was great. Had the 2x26 white cream chicken and chicken/rice plate with a tall cold Horchata. Still full the next day
