This place is exactly what you actually want, guy inside was awesome. They were working in the back when we got there, everything was fresh. Food was good, let my daughters pick our pan dolces. Champurrado was bomb. Great find, worth the drive

Great bakery. They have a good selection and some of the best prices around. Also they are opened everyday until 9PM . I have tried to update these info with Yelp but they don't seem to care to update this information.

Four Corners has never been the most desired area of the city, but places like Emilio's Bakery has played a big part in revitalizing the neighborhood. Their excellent variety of pastries, breads, and cakes make them one of the more standout worthy panaderias. This is as local as it gets. The shop caters to the local community in Salem, which is home to one of most underrated and budding Mexican scenes in the state. They have a fresh daily selection of various baked goods and pan dulce specialties. The shop is a bakery through and through, but also is a pseudo-convenience store. They also sell pre-bagged pastries, avocados, snacks, hot sauces, and drinks.Their conchas are excellent. I also really enjoy their bigotes, brocas, and chilindrinas. Like any good bakery, they also have special occasion cakes for sale, which can be customized if ordered ahead of time. Their Mexican king cake (rosca de reyes) Cookies and other flakey pastries, such as the abanico are often sold out before the day is over.Prices are not wallet breaking and the service is outstanding. Spanish is preferred and so is cash. There is no seating here, and it's never been so busy that I haven't had time to browse for what I needed. Parking is tight for a shared lot, but manageable overall. Anyone who is in the area and likes a good piece of bread(s), owe themselves a visit to Emilio's.
