Disclaimer: I feel it only fair to point out that I happen to know the owner of this establishment. However, I feel that my comments about this establishment are fair and honest. The food available at this establishment is, well, awesome! I first found this establishment when the owner offered me work about 10 years ago. He needed some work done making some minor repairs and some cosmetic work to the store. While working with Krishna, he had his wife prepare lunches for me and I have to tell you that she can cook! Of course, this was not normal menu items she was preparing for me. But, over the years I have continued frequenting this restaurant even though I have completed the work they needed, and I have to say that they never disappoint. I would highly recommend a visit to this establishment if you like Indian style food.

Just amazing! Home cooked and made with fresh ingredients, we love their curry and samosas, they even have party size portions for family gatherings! Best curry in the inland northwest!

Excellent samosas and chutneys made in house. (This is a commercial kitchen offering direct sales to public so limit your shopping to prepared, dried and frozen goods, or buy their products at grocers who carry them.)

Very nice staff. They offered me a free sauce on my first visit to try it out. The lady who works there is very nice and will guide you with everything even if you have no idea about their food. Try them they are really good.

I cannot say enough good things about Shiba's spice mixes. This is my go-to source for curries, chutneys, and spice mixes. Makes cooking restaurant quality Indian food at home a breeze. Everytime I make something with the spice mixes people wonder what my secret is... its happy curry!!
This place is nothing short of amazing. The owner is a blessing to know. So kind. Now the food is out of this world great! The food in Salem is let's face it often bland. Happy Curry is full flavor! They have great accessories. Cute stuff for shopping. A wonderful chain of events led me here, once there we were welcomed with such warmth. This place is ran by a beautiful family. FYI if you are eating any Indian food in Salem and it's good... They made it. After going there my family and I want to have a party just to have them cater.

It was my first time there and it was a great place was looking for good quality Tumaric and found it tried something she was cooking loved it she had every spice u could want prices were good and also purchaed some of her Pockets they are wonderful she was such a beautiful woman and very very nice. I also purchased some of her refrigerated food can't wait to try it I will defenately be going back. Thank you Happy Curry for being so nice. Bob and Susie

I don't understand how this place got better reviews than a 1. Hours said it opened at 11. We got there at 12:15 for lunch having traveled since 8am. We got there, and a lady came out confused and we asked about lunch...she said the food wasn't ready and didn't even offer a time....what! The place is super dingy and not taken care of. The lady tried talking to us, but she spoke so low I felt I was literally going dead. I wouldn't recommend.
