Wow! Went for the first time today during lunch break from a class at the art department. Despite a long line, service was quick and very friendly. Super nice woman behind the counter recommended a white chocolate and raspberry blended coffee to me that was so good!!! The veggie sandwich and tomato soup were to die for. Can't wait to go back.

Our absolute favorite spot in town for quality coffee, a hometown atmosphere, and the nicest baristas you’ll find anywhere. I’m obsessed with the brown butter cardamom latte, and my husband rarely leaves without a cortado. He still raves about them — and we’ve been regulars for 3+ years. The cheddar-date scone is a real treat, as is the spicy Metolius chai. And for something more substantial, the chia bowl is delish.Bonus: They sell Sisters Coffee beans, which are our go-to.

4 stars for the coffee - was expecting a better latte to be honest but it was fine. Very smokey and dark roast I'm guessing.5 stars for the service - very friendly staff5 stars for the atmosphere - really cool vibe - comfortable and clean4 stars for the prices - not outrageous but a little steep for the quality of the coffee

Hard to beat a cappuccino from Isaac's Downtown. It's consistently perfect. We really enjoy that they use Sister's Coffee for perfect balance between roast PNW coffees and a more tame roast. Awesome cup, and the food is good too.

I used to really like this place, but finally had give up on. At the times I wanted to go, it was impossible to find a seat. They only have one cashier station, and the line is often backed up to the door. So I stand in line for 10 minutes, then can't find a seat. Not worth it anymore. Also, quality of staff seems to have declined, while prices have gone up. I'll find a new spot.Parking: Difficult to find on street. Better to park in a downtown lot and walk over.

My first visit, I ordered a bagel and unfortunately experienced a lengthy wait of over 30 minutes. It appears that I was overlooked due to the tension among the workers, with one male individual constantly monitoring the worker helping me and criticizing her actions as "wrong."Despite this, I was graciously offered a complimentary cookie for the extended wait, while other customers around me had already received their orders and departed. For my second visit I opted to utilize the mobile app to avoid another prolonged wait. The app indicated a 10-minute wait time. Upon my arrival approximately 15 minutes later I approached the front to inquire about my order for pickup. As the app does not provide an option for add-ons I was required payment of the difference in-store (which is no problem). I appreciated the opportunity to settle the payment without waiting for the remainder of customers to order.Despite these efforts, my order was still not ready prompting me to wait another 10 minutes. Upon reminding the staff that it had almost been 30 minutes since placing my order and expressing my need to depart, a staff member retrieved the bagel from the back. Upon reaching my destination, I discovered that the additional item I had paid for in-store had not been included with the bagel. I returned to the shop to address the oversight, only to feel dismissed. At that point I had requested for a refund, as I was already late for work and unable to enjoy my meal.Regrettably, I was informed that the refund process would be attended to at a later time, leaving me concerned about the resolution and potential need for further action. It appears that the expectations of this coffee shop may not align with my preferences for efficient service. Consequently, I will have to seek an alternative coffee shop for future visits.

Isaac’s is a decent contender for the top coffee shop in downtown. It’s a busy spot and the coffee is pretty good, although the attention to detail with the espresso is a little lacking. My Americano was fine, but it had a little bite to it, as if it was underextracted. But like I said, it’s busy, and weighing and dosing your espresso takes time. It’s a cozy enough place to hang out and get some work done. I didn’t order food, so I can’t speak to that. My experience wasn’t bad by any means, but nothing really stood out to me either, except that the cafe is bright and clean and inviting.
