I was there waiting for my order for almost an hour and for them to give it to me cold and apart from the fact that they last a long time the prices are very high they have a child serving a child who doesn't even know how to count but luckily bad experience

The food was very good the lady working there took my order even when it was closed. I work late and I almost never make it on time when theyre open but on 2 occasions I went they had great attitude in taking my order even though they were closed. Would recommend. And the kid there is really kind ?

Overpriced, ordered a machete $14 ok, asada nachos $12, horchata and champurrado prob 16oz cup, total was 41 something. Horchata and champurrado apparently were $7 each, it was later in the day, we were the only ones, took a good 20 minutes to get our food!

Deliciously delicious food. Ordering was a little difficult. Language confusion. Took quite a while to go get our food. We were the one only for the people there.

Great food!

The carne asada is overcooked and old. I had to throw the tacos out. Food takes a while and I don’t know why. The meat is so hard you can’t chew it. Disgusting place. Don’t ever go here, it’s extremely overpriced too.

Terrible tacos de asada today! Over priced. They used to be on sale today. Dry with no flavor. Salsa was super hot and no flavor. Very disappointed. And no horchata.

There are a dime a dozen taqueria trucks in this stretch of Salem, but I genuinely feel Maria Sabor Casero has loads of potential to be one of the better options. The only thing that'll keep them from getting there is what semi-soured my experience: slow service and average food. I'm not really sold but 2.5 stars rounded up for everything else. One major hurdle that curbs most of these places is parking. They practically have an entire lot to themselves and such ample spacing that additional tables and whatever else can be implemented. They've got quality branding as well with a cute logo, and a super bilingual friendly menu that works with the masses. There is even a juicery next to the truck where they're essentially the 2nd stop after ordering food.In addition they have a super diverse menu of awesome variety including tamales, carne asada fries, machetes, arabes, pupusas, and some of the usual suspects like flautas, huaraches, tortas, cemitas, burritos, and tacos. I really wish I could have tried the machetes or their massive "Oregon Mega Burrito" but I need to be way more hungry (#1) to give that a shot. However, all good things aside, it took so long for my order to get out. I was waiting over 30 minutes, which isn't a problem normally when there is a bigger crowd, but I was the only person there. What's worse is that several of my tacos had the wrong meats. Mishaps happen (#2) but the added wait time made it sting just a little more.Food wise, it was somewhat underwhelming. My al pastor needed a bit of a bump in flavor and the pollo tinga was semi-below average flavor wise. I needed more. The sopes were solid and I think their tortas deserve a second look.I'll likely be back again. Hopefully by then they'll be much improved.___________(#1) And being a little borracho doesn't hurt either.(#2) That's like saying, "Your skill is very skillful."
