Quesadilla de birria was fantastic. I ate a third of it (as well as half the chips on the table...which came with very tasty salsa and bean dip!) and was full. Guac was tasty, too. The place was clean with cute Easter decorations and the server was kind and attentive.I wasn't crazy about the margarita--it tasted like a mix and was pretty watered down, but for $7.95, it wasn't bad!

The Pollo en Mole tastes like Chicken Teriyaki. The sauce was broken and odd looking. The chef doesn’t know how to properly make this dish. Not a good place, I tried it because I saw a review saying it’s “the best most authentic mexican food in Salem”. This is not it. Overpriced trash is what they’re serving.

At the far end of the strip, but venture in. This is a family owned and staffed restaurant that serves freshly made delicious traditional food. We really enjoy the birria plate. they have Mexican coca cola. The guacamole is freshly made and chips are light and salty. Soups are nourishing. We haven't been thru all the menu but what we've tried has met or exceeded expectations. We like.

Wow, great pastor in Salem! First visit & got the pastor burrito w/ rice beans on a lunch special. I would have taken the pic with the whole burrito if I knew it was going to be good enough to share here. This is delicious!
Tried this place tonight due to the good reviews. So glad we did! Service is fast and friendly. We had a chicken burrito and a shrimp enchilada. Both were well flavored and really, really good. The chips with salsa and bean dip are nice as we sat down. They serve breakfast here too. We'll definitely be back!!

Love the food had chicken enchiladas and they were delicious my hubby had burrito Verde. We will definitely eat there again, great meal at reasonably priced.

I first had this place during the ice storm of Feb 2020, when power was out for much of Salem. They fed us when our stove wouldn't turn on, and the food was just so good that I've been going back about every 1.5weeks for the last 2 years.Some recommendations:* Miramar burrito for a good wet burrito* The mexican pizza is next-level* The roasted jalapeno appetizer are some of the best jalapenos out there. I would a dozen as a meal if my body would allow me.* The house-made salsa is the best traditional salsa I've had in Salem.Nothing but good things to say about this place!

Found Rancho Miramar during the 2021 freeze and have been a regular since. Their menu makes it really easy to order vegetarian. The Mexican pizza, jalapenos with queso and fries are so dang good and 100% recommend. The staff is always friendly and very kind and the restaurant and restroom is always clean. We regularly order food for take out and it's always packaged well. Thank you Rancho Miramar for being a true gem in Salem!

Fantastic. Great little place off the beaten path. Very delicious food and good service. We enjoyed the Tacos Carbon and Tacos Miramar. The carne was tender and delicious and the shrimp were perfectly cooked and in a tasty sauce. Prices were also decent. Would definitely return!!
