So, atmosphere is pretty cool. Laid back, no complaints there.This is where it sort of ends for me. Partner ordered food for us, I got my food first, room temperature rosemary fries, salty fried chicken sandwich. I liked the rosemary fries, I wonder how they are hot and fresh.We waited close to 10 minutes for my partner to get his food. We received my order again and his, so, 3 sandwich’s? I don’t know. With his order, he received the incorrect fries, sandwich seemed correct. We asked the employee who delivered the food to correct the issue. She wanted to take the entire plate away after he waited for awhile for his. I asked, “could you just bring a plate of them?” She acknowledged and walked away, to never return.I found her as I was leaving and asked her what happened? The response, she “needed the plate,” so, basically left us hanging with the wrong order.Lovely.Got our fries to go. I mean, I know it’s fries but, let’s communicate versus ignoring us. I’ll pass on the salty chicken and ineffective communications.

In town for just a couple of days - this downtown restaurant convenient 2 min walk from the two major hotels and in the downtown walking district. One hell of a selection of liquor and OK selection of wine. Food, while not extensive selection, all looked well-prepared and my burger was perfect. What what outstanding was the service. People here are eager to help, advise, serve, and otherwise just be really people-friendly (I think my server was Molly?).Highly recommend for dinner. Will definitely return on my next trip.

The pizza was delicious, and the smokehouse burger was great. We had excellent service, and the wait staff was knowledgeable and kind.
My first restaurant in Salem, Oregon. The food was good and ambience is nice. I was surprised that many restaurants is Salem gets full at the lunchtime. I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Salem.

Took my mom here for her birthday. My mom's order was wrong - with no resolution to fix it besides a measly $3.00 off a bill I am paying for - nothing for the person whom we came here to celebrate. My mother explicitly stated she didn't want a hamburger, and that is what was served. Absolute trash service, I attempted to resolve this with Ritters by sending and email and placing multiple calls, all of which have been ignored. Won't be back since there is a massive lack of customer service.

The host that sat us and gave us the menu was extremely nice and helpful. Our server Jana on the other hand was not. In fact not only was she rude she put judgement on us treating us like we were poor people who dont have money to pay their prices. For one just because my husband was wearing blue jeans and a motorcycle coat and I was wearing black leggings with a gothic hello kitty t-shirt does not make poor. FYI we are far from being poor so the judgemental looks and comments are not appreciated. Jana was overly judgemental when I didn't want anything else but water to drink due to my health reasons . The service we received was horrible and very uncomfortable. It took forever for Jana to come back to take our order and we watched her take orders of people who got there after we did. I ordered a crab salad and my husband ordered the sweet potato fries. The food tasted good and we enjoyed the food even the we felt so uncomfortable the whole time there. Normally when my husband and I have dinner together and we get good service our tips are $15 to $20 tips so its fair to say we did leave a $1 tip cause the food was good Needless to say we will not be returning.
