No longer in business. Disappointing after driving and parking. Their storefront isn't even up anymore. It's too bad. It looks like a very good place.

Chocolate Business is hands down the best cake I've ever had. Now clearly, if you don't like chocolate, you won't like that cake, but I would urge you to give it a try if you do. I do enjoy the other cakes, but not as much. But in all fairness, I have a hard time trying something new when I like that one so much. Also, I tried to order one of these cakes for my wedding, but they simply said we don't do that. So I took away a star, since they're too busy or something to make their cakes available for special occasions. I mean I get it now, but this was before COVID.

The first time I went, and got cake it was definitely a 5 star experience.. however, I tried to go last night 15 minutes to closing (I was going to get it to go) and the guy was standing outside smoking with the door cracked and said they were already closed and told me I couldn’t get it to go. When I asked if they closed at 9 pm like google said and like it was last time I went he said no we are closing until may 1st. That’s not even what I asked. He knew he closed early and was trying to confuse me ?‍♀️

Every time we've had dessert from here, it's fabulous and decadent. The tiramisu is out of this world and the cookies are substantial. Thanks for making amazing desserts!

We got several (6) pieces of cake/desserts from here. None of them were very good at all, our kids didn't even like them. They were decently expensive and we likely will not be coming back again.

This is more a request than review. My name is Faye kircher and I am with a non profit group called Music Box Angels Inc. We make one of a kind music boxes and give to people that are suffering in sickness or a loss. Our website is musicboxangels.org. Our email address is [email protected]. We are searching for business like yours that might donate some desserts for our fundraiser April 30, 2022. Your company will be mentioned on our presentation as well in our newsletter and all media outlets we us. Thank you for your consideration, Faye Kircher 503-884-9558

It was just okay and extremely hard to find, not worth the hassle when there are so many other great bakeries in town.

Staff continue to shame customers who do not wear masks even if they have a medical exemption. I will no longer support any business that allows their staff to shame those who do not wear a mask, and ignoring medical exceptions.

The best desserts ever!! The 24 K carrot cake is to die for as well as the creme brûlée, keto cheesecake, and the list goes on!!!

Always amazing vegan selection. My friends and I love stopping by! ❤️

First, we looked for their location and had a difficult time finding it. We asked one of the local shops for it's location--walk down an alley....When we finally found it, it was 7:35pm and they were closed. I even called twice and no response. On Google Maps and FB, it says they were open until 9pm on Saturdays, however, on their outgoing message it says they were open until 8pm. It was extremely disappointing since we came from out of town!!!!

Great cake! But sad to say I had a very bad experience when looking to get a birthday cake for my mom. I didn’t realize cakes have to be ordered 48 hours in advance which is my bad. But WARNING, if you’re thinking to stop by to get a cake, you will not be sold one by just walking in.I asked if there was any chance I could buy the whole chocolate cake for the special occasion as this was my mom’s favorite place (or rather used to be). There was also one whole cake and maybe a little less than a half left of the chocolate. They said I couldn’t do that in case they ran out that night (not sure how crowded it gets on a Tuesday night ??‍♀️). When I asked if I could do slices I was informed to “keep in mind” it was $9.50 a slice and 12 slices to a cake with a tone that implied I wouldn’t be able to afford that. I would have probably bought it were it not for the rudeness, and I was also not offered any other cake.I ended up going to Konditorei who was able to provide a delicious cake (they encourage ordering ahead for whole cakes but were very friendly on the phone and able to accommodate me this time which I will always remember). Glad they can make accommodations when others are less than helpful.Although Sweets Smith’s tasty cakes catered my sister’s wedding dessert, both me and my family will not be returning customers due to this experience.

Please, please, please, label your deserts on display. Save your employees repeatedly stating what is what, and your customers repeatedly asking what is what. Lots of time is wasted, with a slight slice of frustration not served. Your deserts are delicious by the way.

This review is a little late, but I got married in May (2021), and we went to Sweetsmith to get several types of cakes for our wedding. They were all so cute and it made for a really unique look. There was something for everyone to love and we got so many compliments on how delicious it was. I absolutely recommend!

I like giving 5 star reviews, but the cold brew tasted like water... with a single espresso bean in it... the cashier was nice and the pastries were decent. But that cold brew...
