Cocktails are amazing. The food however was bland. My fajitas were burnt and my $4 fountain drink had zero

Amazing dinner! I was extremely surprised with the quality and taste of their Mongolian stir Fry with steak! Vegetables were cooked perfectly and the sweet spicy sauce set it off! Definitely would have dinner here again. Beautiful, clean and upscale dining experience. Servers are friendly and professional. Nice dining experienceParking: Located in the Holiday Inn parking lot adjacent to the hotel. Ample parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Meets current ADA parking and entrance. Table are wheelchair accessible. No steps on ground floor. Open seating area with tile/wood/laminate floors

Great service, yummy food. We had breakfast which was included with the room price and was a la carta (not like the regular American breakfast included in the ‘Express’ version of the hotel). All waitress were extremely friendly, they even switched the tv to cartoons for the kiddos. We also had dinner, the kids burger is huge, more like a regular size burger, chicken tenders great, quesadilla, Caesar’s salsa, street tacos, all really good. Highly recommended!

We've always had a great experience. The bartender Jeff has consistently exceeded our expectations. Will be back as long as he's working!!!!

Food was good, Tables were wobbly and questionable if they would stay up, and the atmosphere sucked for what we like. No music or sound of any kind so it felt like you were eating in a library and we had a 2 year old with us so that was a bit awkward. But waitress was nice and we didn't have to wait too long for anything.

Ok, my review of Capitol City Grill. Before coming here, I read the reviews which were mixed with bad and good. My experience is also mixed. We came in, not very busy with only three other tables. The waitress sat us and asked for drinks. My lady ordered a hard cider and the waitress walked away without asking me for my drink. She returned before having the drink or drinks to say the bartender is running the lines. at which time I asked for a beer. Not sure why she didn't ask me the first time, but I'm use to being ignored being in a wheelchair but I don't know..The menu was very limited but I ordered the BBQ ribs which came quickly. The sides of chefs choice was onion rings and potato salad. The potatoe salad was not good because it tasted like carrots. The ribs were delicious and it came out hot. The onion rings were from frozen so I don't give much kudos to the chef or cook. The decor is clean and very nice. Our table is a little wobbly and the wsit staff changed the TV channel to a movie and sat at the bar most of the time watching tv and talking to each other.

Car broke down in the parking lot was hungry and wanted something close and quick…saw this place was open went inside it was empty. Got seated and served pretty well. Left a nice tip. Lady server was nice.I went on a Saturday afternoon peaceful and good music during happy hour.

Good service, good prices, friendly staff. I've uploaded current menus because the hotel website has an old menu and doesn't show happy hour menu.

Service was great! Food was delicious.Limited menu, but sometimes not having to many choices is better. Decent prices. Dessert was the best a chocolate mousse cake. Yummy

An unexpected JOY to have a fantastic meal inside the Holiday Inn. We were i Salem Oregon for a Military Conference , we got in late and were starving. As we entered the lobby , we noticed a bar/grill in the hotel's lobby, asked the desk for menus came down and had a bite. Wonderful and fresh. Hector the manager went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We will eat here every meal this weekend.

This was some of the best food I have had in quite some time and I had both a dinner and breakfast. Was excellent and the service too was also very good. They have a core menu of versatile menu items that should meet the needs of a majority of people and they also do a few daily rotating menu specials also. The steak I had was perfectly cooked, seasonal zucchini vegetables and just a great meal. They have several good local and well known draft beers on tap, a good selection of local and regional wines and a well stocked bar too. Breakfast - oh yes, had the seasonal veggie omelette and it too was cooked perfectly and just a great way to start my day. Coffee they serve was also very good too! Give them a try if in the Salem area

Wish we had gone here as soon as we checked in. Instead got room service from them. They came up within 20 mins of placing the order. Prices are very reasonable, kids menu is $4.89 and includes a drink, the portions are very big. Got the Macaroni and cheese for one of the kids, it was large plate of penne in a cheese saUce, it came with mixed veggie - I expected celery or carrot sticks, it was a squash sauté. Very nice flavor. The kids cheeseburger was huge. Great flavor as well, Hand pressed patty, not the usual frozen puck- but a decent thickness. Fries were seasoned well. The only complaint and not harsh one would be the buffalo wings were just plain- and we ordered side of honey siracha for dipping, otherwise it would have been plain fried wings- but they were a decent a sized wing. $11 for order. I kind of think maybe they didn't toss in buffalo sauce we asked for, since we asked for a different flavor to dip. It was way better than the Chinese place we did go to earlier in day close by, but now we know. I would go in here even if I i weren't staying at holiday inn.
