This is far and away my favorite small business… no, favorite business of ANY kind in Salem. The first time I came it was magical and every visit since has been also. I’ve been about 10 times total and now I make sure to come at least once a week or more. They’re kind and helpful and so lovely. Every single thing we’ve tried on the menu is brilliant. The atmosphere is calm, well decorated, clean, and authentic. I love the little fidget toys and lovely books to look at while we wait (but they are fast!). The quality of the tea, boba, and beverages in general is absolutely stunning. I might be something of a tea snob too tbh? Given our other boba choices in Salem, well, let’s just say this one is superior (to my fam and I) in a big way. This is coming from someone who spends a lot of time in Portland, Corvallis, and Eugene also, so I’ve had my fair share of teas and boba. I will do everything in my power to help this family stay in business for the long-haul. I am an absolute fan for life now. All I can say is everything about the shop is perfect and fills me with joy. I hope they will make shirts, beanie, &/or hats so that I can wear them and tell people about this brilliant little tea shop in our city.Vegetarian options: Milk options for vegans too!Dietary restrictions: We have vegan and vegetarians in our family and everyone finds something delicious on this menu.

Service was friendly and the place was small, but cozy. The 3 stars was more for the bubble tea. I was excited to see the varied drink options. It’s good that they seem to experiment with many non-dairy milk options as default for the drinks. Ended up getting three drinks for my family (it was $20-22 I think, so not the cheapest). The black milk tea: tea didn’t have a strong enough of a flavor. The boba was very disappointing: it was a tough chewy (not QQ), like the texture of the 5 minute boba you can get from Asian stores (WuFuYuan brand). The boba also was not sweetened and was pretty bland (it really had the taste of WuFuYuan boba!).Overall a disappointing boba experience considering the high marks from other visitors

Update: their decorations for Chinese New Year are absolutely gorgeous -- be sure to stop in to see! xoRecently picked up their Black Dragon tea. It is awesome. Instructions on the pouch have been perfect. Nice that it came with some paper tea bags.--Tea from Wabi Sabi makes every day so much better. Lots of variety and options. The new/specials are always delicious, e.g the beetroot latte. If you love beets, get that one unsweetened and the beet + spice goodness is just wow! Glorious.Parking: Parking lot is off Miller St.

Wabi Sabi never misses the mark. Their drinks are delicious and the quality is exceptional. In the summer my go-to is the emerald paradise which is so refreshing! Recently my go-to is the brown sugar milk tea with boba (which is perfect, by the way!).

What a wondrous addition to the Salem beverage scene! Each drink is made with care & precision so it can take a bit. The vibe inside is so mellow it feels nice to just take that time to breath & regroup. Consider ordering ahead for pick up since space is limited and they make it super easy. Bring your own cup & receive .60 cents off. We’ve had their hot & cold drinks (herbal & caffeinated) and honestly their blends are like no other I’ve come across. We had the Black Dragon Latte this last visit! You can specify sweetness on most (which I SO appreciate )They offer some espresso combo drinks as well which makes for a fun change. The owners are kind & helpful. Consider ordering an extra beverage to deliver to a friend so we can spread local business LOVE ?Parking: I’ve always been able to find a spot on the street across from The Roadhouse. This way I’m off of Commercial & it’s easy to get back out if you drive around the block. Plus you get a little fresh air in the process!
