“Not that I have tried a lot of barbecue in the Portland area YET, this location serves up some pretty good smoked meats. Been there a couple of times. Service is average and friendly. First times there we had four adults and three of us shared the Meat Sweats platter which was plenty of food for two couples. There are not enough ribs for a larger group though. Loved the dry rub chicken wings and the pulled pork. My son enjoyed the smoked tri-tip. Went back on my own as I was craving the Mac and cheese I had the first time there. Some of the best I have ever had. Had a pulled pork sandwich as well.“
“An awesome laid-back taproom/pub style restaurant with delicious food! The Thai and Mexican food on the menu was unexpected but very tasty. They have a good selection of beer and cider, and wines/cocktail options too.Vegetarian options: All the Thai food options can be ordered with tofu as the protein.“
“We had rip city cater our wedding and we couldn’t have been happier! Considering the fact that our wedding venue didn’t allow wood chips to bqq the meat was just as good as when I tasted it for the first time! My husband Tanner has worked for Walsh construction for almost 9 years and they have had them cater multiple times throughout his time there and it was always his favorite so that is what made it an option for us to try for our wedding. When we met Clint for a tasting he was so nice and chill and made the process so easy, it was such a great experience for Tanner and I! He just cared about making good food and us happy and that’s all we could ask for! I was so happy to hear all my friends and family say this was the best food they have ever had a wedding! Clint and his staff were amazing! And I couldn’t have asked for better! Tanner and I will definitely be making dinner date nights at his new restaurant in sandy a tradition as he made an amazing impact on our special day! :)PS his wife’s candied pecans are the best!!!“
“We went on Christmas day and plan to eat here again very soon. Food is very fresh, no frozen veggies that's for certain. Lo Mein and rice was really good. Soup was perfect! Kung pao was beautiful, very tasty. $55 for soup, spring roll appetizer, the Lo Mein with steak, chicken and shrimp and shrimp with pork fried rice, and tea for 4. Happy campers we are!! Service was perfect. Thank you for being so kind to us!!“
“The food here is AMAZING. Seriously some of the best meals in town. The wings, burgers, sandwiches, everything slaps. I've only had one dish there so far that was "so-so". But, for visiting there about 6 times now that is an amazing track reccord. I highly reccomend the wings. Also, our server Dallas did an amazing job! Seriously 10/10 service. What ever manager or owner is reading this (YEAH YOU, I see you!!!), make sure to give Dallas a solid pat on the back. People like that are the reason why people come back and spend more money at places like this!“
“Stopped in for drinks and desserts and wow! Check out the 15 layer chocolate cake! It's huge and could be shared by 4 people!! ?Parking: Lots of wheelchair parking right up front.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance.“
“Simple and fresh ingredients prepared well. I had the breakfast sandwich and the bread was perfectly toasted yet soft, the eggs were fried yet fluffy and not greasy. They lettuce was chopped fine to make for easy bites. Hash browns were fresh potatoes. Think we will be one regulars here.“
“Everyone is so happy to be back to work even though the restaurant is still closed. The outdoor patio can accommodate anyone under age and the bar is air conditioned. Small food menu from the food cart but the cooks are doing amazing job. I can't wait until they can get back into the big kitchen in the “
“I don't remember the name of our waitress, but she provided excellent and very personable service. Food was good too. Kid friendly for sure. Kids menu had good options.Vegetarian options: Salads and some other options that are vegetarian. Salads are tasty. Good quality produce“
“East bound 26 (mt hood hi-way) in Sandy Or. is the Sandlandia Food Cart Pod. There you will find Mt Hood Cheesesteaks. These really are like A true Philly Cheesesteak. The buns are perfect, they don't fall apart and they hold everything without too much mess. Choice of cheese and toppings and my son ( who really is a chef) says the grill is perfectly seasoned and it makes the meat and toppings perfect. They also have fries that are crispy and can be seasoned many ways. New to me anyways they are serving ranch to table burgers (smash burger) as a single, double with sauce or deluxe with lettuce and tomatoes and sauce. These are textbook smash burgers that are thin and have crispy edges with American cheese. Truly awesome and only a few miles away. Everything is still hot when I get home.“
