my 6yo is still raving about osprey cafe weeks later. my partner and i loved it just as much. the staff are kind and genuine and the food is fabulous, and quality and much of it is organic and or local, etcVegetarian options: the arepas are lovely, and the authentico black beans (w lime!), but i found the chiltomate salsa to be too hot and quite overpowering. all good. i shared my partner's home fries, and they were knock your socks off good. i struggled to decide between the arepas vegetarian breakfast and the legendary french toast and ended up being way indulgent by ordering an arepas and black beans a la carte, and my french toast. the french toast was beautiful, well made, quality, baked... very sweet and rich and decadent, however, as it cooled, the texture that was supposed to resemble a custard or something similar, (as i'd read in some foodie review), became too similar to undercooked french toast, and i couldn't enjoy it to finish the second half. *my kiddo gladly did, tho! anyway, there are all sorts of interesting and appealing vegetarian and vegan delights beyond what we were able to sample as a family of three.Kid-friendliness: the teddy bear pancake is Beyond- my kiddo was so impressed, and so was I! (i was dubious when they ordered this) staff were super nice in a genuine and relaxed way. -very sweet to my child, and obviously very 'ok' with us as family patrons.

The Osprey Cafe is a wonderful spot to relax near the beach and eat some great food! The fireplace adds to the relaxed atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious! I ordered the steelhead scramble with the arepas and they were fantastic! Definitely recommend this spot if you are in the area!

We visited The Osprey Cafe while on vacation in Seaside OR and absolutely LOVED the entire experience! The staff were so friendly and attentive. I had the Nosi Goreng—which was a little out of my usual eggs/bacon/toast wheelhouse, but I decided to give it a try and loved it! Kids had Breakfast burrito...the 13yo is still talking about :)) and my daughter loved her chocolate chip pancakes! All in all a lovely experience: cozy, warm and good bang for the buck...will definitely be back!
