Had a reservation for 6pm this evening. We arrived nearly 10 minutes early to be told they would be right with us. Another party walked in 5 minutes later and were helped and immediately seated. We went to the hostess and was told she needed to clean off a table. After another 5 minutes (no cleaning to be done) we were seated. She took our drink order and when she returned she said it would be a little bit. 20 minutes later and we were wondering what was going on. After nearly 40 minutes of being there, with 2 kids, we decided it was in our best interest to leave. We left a $20 on the table to cover the 3 beers we had and when I went to the hostess station to tell them we were leaving, stating that we'd been seated for 40 minutes she just said 'sorry about that'. This has been by far the worst experience we have had at Fujis. From the moment we walked in the door, to the moment we left. Very disappointed and a huge waste of time. Next time we'll head to Beaverton to Benihana instead.

We just visited FuGis this last Friday and it was really good, I had the chicken, tenderloin combo.

5 stars for the food and the Teppanyaki chef. He was great and food was really yummy! 2 stars for the other server (Hispanic female?) Clearly didn't know her menu and quoted (and charged) incorrect pricing for beer and even delivered the wrong beer. Nowhere on my receipt did it say the word "Sapporo", yet that's what I got. Her response was "Oh, well, you asked about an entirely different beer." Yeah, I did ask... so? I didn't really understand that one either?!?!Know your menu... It's really not that big or complicated! Nothing ruins a great (yet pretty expensive) night out more than a server who ether doesn't know what they're doing or is just lazy/sloppy. Take pride in your craft!

Made a reservation (recommended) for a dinner at the Sherwood location. We were sat very quickly but it took about 40 mins for ourgrill chef to arrive. The Trinity roll was my favorite pre-dinner appetizer. The portions are a good size and pricing varies based on meats chosen. The food is good but the draw centers around your chef; that's what you pay for in the end. We were lucky to have one of the veterans that raised the experience with levity and laughs.

TBH.

Food was definitely overpriced for what we got, my biggest complaint would be while cooking the food they had it sit out and we had to wait until the very last shrimp was cooked and pretty much the whole plate was cold. I don't know about you, but I don't like paying $31 for a plate of cold noodles and cold steak. Need a hear lamp or something if you're going to make us wait to eat the food while you continue to cook. Great atmosphere and very nice service from staff.

Fuji's Grill and sushi has been a favorite of our families for over 13 years. I was back in town and had a real Jones for some sushi. I remembered that Fuji's had a location in Sherwood and decided to stop in for dinner. They are located right off Highway 99 in a strip mall with plenty of parking right out front. I was greeted by a very friendly manager, who acted like he'd known me forever. He directed me to the sushi bar where I ordered the Momokawa Pearl Nigori Junmai Gingo Genshu Sake at the recommendation of the server. After a quick scan of the sushi menu, I placed my initial order. One of the great things about sitting at the sushi counter is watching your order put together right in front of you. Their Sushi chef was very good and he deftly laid out my two Nigiri selections (Yellowtail or Hamachi and "red tuna" or maguro),and the the Maki Spicy Tuna roll; The Nigiri were great and the fish was sweet and fresh and the Spicy Tuna Roll was beautiful. The miso soup was a great start and the Momokawa Pearl Sake that the server recommended was excellent. I made short work of the Nigiri and Maki rolls and then ordered a hamachi Maki roll and Shrimp Tempura to top it off. Everything was excellent and it was great to see that an old favorite was still hitting the sweet spot. If you're looking for an authentic sushi experience, definitely give Fuji's Grill & Sushi a try. You won't be disappointed! 5 stars and thanks for a great experience.
