We have been going to Mazatlan in Sherwood for well over 20 years.Their food is the tastiest, and they are always consistent! We have never had a change in the taste of food from visit to visit and we know we can count on a great meal.Their service is top notch. The same people have been there for the over 20 years we have gone, so that really says something. And they recognize us each time we stop in to eat.Our favorite dishes are the fajitas for two, carne asada and tamales. Top that off with a horchata or a Roy Rogers and you have an excellent meal.

Wow, I don’t know where the rest of you people have been eating, but our experience today was not even worth one star. The chips were very dark brown. We asked for some not cooked so much and they said they were all like that. My first job was in a Mexican restaurant and I know the chips do not need to be dark brown and I know they could’ve easily made some that weren’t. They did not offer us any freshly done chips in a lighter tone. Both of our dishes were subpar. We’ve had far better food at many other Mexican, food restaurants. Our waitress was not friendly or helpful. The margaritas were decent, but by far not good or excellent. We will frequent other Mexican food restaurants in the area that have much better food.

Had small group of friends meeting here for dinner. Didn't make a reservation as we are a small group. There were open tables but they refused to seat us until everyone was here. I was so hungry I was nauseous. I was hoping to order an app while waiting. Food was ok. Service was good. But don't tell them you have more people coming.

Not so in our experience at Mazatlan. The service was good, the look and atmosphere authentic and the cuisine tasty, with generous portions.
