I have yet to have something from The Hungry Hero that wasn't exceptional. Their sweet treats are so delicious and I think about them often. I have never been to their store front, but always get something when they do pop-ups at Nordstrom at Washington Square Mall. These pop-ups are usually very busy, but the team working moves with urgency and efficiency, all while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. If you want a delicious sweet treat definitely check them out. Everything is good, you won't be disappointed.

Hungry Hero catered the deserts for our wedding and brought such an original mix of cookies, cupcakes, bars, and other baked treats. They also did our wedding cake which was absolutely delicious and looked incredible. It was all a huge hit and everybody loved how creative their flavors were, and how visually dazzling everything looked. Highly recommended!

A super cute neighborhood bakery in the heart of Old Town Sherwood by the train tracks.This is a super sweets/dessert based bakery - think cupcakes and cookies and cheesecake (not pastries). But man do they crush it!I have been there a couple times and try to get new things every time. I had a seasonal blueberry pie slice, a strawberry gooey bar and both were so good. Didn't love the cookie as much.... But can't wait to go back and try more!

This vibrant bakery in Old Town Sherwood is one of the best stops in town to get your baked goods and desserts. They offer a variety of fun & unique treats. I highly recommend going in on Sunday's to get their individual cream cheese cinnamon rolls! It's becoming a bi-weekly tradition for our family. The staff is wonderful and happy to serve you every time.

Not only is this place beautiful and smells wonderful but the pastries were amazing. I got two sandwich cream cookies. I would love to try a cupcake next. Also the cookies were pretty hardy because they survived a several mile bike ride home in my basket!

This place is awesome! I'm so glad I found it accidentally. First of all, it is so cute and welcoming inside . The treats are so delicious , I had one of the best pieces of chocolate cake I've ever had with edible glitter no less! Who doesn't love that . I could probably eat their almond sprinkle cookies on the daily. Run don't walk here.

I am definitely someone who will drive out of their way for pastries but never thought I would drive 20 miles every month for a cinnamon roll....until I met The Hungry Hero. I can't tell you how many times I made the trip for Cinnamon Rolls, sheet cakes (when they had them) and of course all of the other goodies (if you don't grab yourself a Debbie Bar, you might as well have stayed home). And that's just the start...don't get me started with all of the service with a smile. I love this place and continually miss it having moved out of state...keeping baking up smiles!
I'm not always wanting sweets because they are usually too sweet! THIS PLACE IS CRAZY! They are really good at balancing sweet and salty so it's not overpowering. The Lady that helped us was super nice and it was so cute for a two person hangout.

Alex and his team are so accommodating and make any event extra special! Not to mention how many compliments our guests always give on the delicious treats. Wandered in on a whim and was blown away by the variety of scrumptious choices and reasonable prices! I don’t think I’ll bother with the grocery store cheesecake I often purchase anymore now that I know I can get a superior piece of pumpkin cheesecake for the same price as at a large grocery store (and probably cheaper than many upscale grocers!). The cherry on top was the excellent service we received as me and my husband hmmed and hawed and couldn’t make up our minds. I highly recommend this place!

HUNGRY HERO IS AMAZING! GO HERE!I have a weakness for sweets, and my parents had been telling me about this bakery. From the first time I went my head was spinning with all of the amazing options! The person helping us was so sweet and talked us through everything. I got a Debbie Bar, a gooey butter bar, a strawberry bar and a banana pudding. I was in absolute heaven. Every single item was unique and so delicious.Needless to say, I've gone back to Hungry Hero many time since this first experience - I order my birthday cakes here, get these sweets as gifts for friends, and always make sure to grab some banana pudding if it's the weekend and I'm in the area. I always have the most wonderful experience.I also cannot sing the staff's praises more - everyone is so sweet and cares deeply.5-stars all around!
