“Unbelievably gorgeous. 35 acres with multiple Mountain View’s on a clear day. It’s a new tasting room for an old vineyard. Plenty of beautiful spaces to enjoy your wine. They are heavy on the Pinot selections. Right now they don’t offer food but you can bring a picnic to enjoy.“
“Good wine, great views, fantastic service. I recently tasted at Blakeslee with a few wine club members. The excitement began during the drive up to the tasting room from the roadway, where incredible views across the valley took my breath away. The clear vistas on the fall day were gorgeous, with much of the Cascade Range in view.Once inside, we were greeted in a warm, bright space that felt comforting and familiar. There was football on, views galore, and plenty of fascinating Oregon history and wine country information - a true space for anyone! Mary was our server (I think), and she was very helpful for the entire journey. It was great to learn so much about the history of the land and the current owners.I enjoyed tasting the variety of wines produced on the property and nearby, and I definitely preferred the rosé blend and the Chardonnays. If you are a fan of Pinots, you will like them, too, but the aromas and flavors are slightly tamer than my preference for bright fruit and spice notes. We also ordered a charcuterie board, and the crew was very accommodating to all of our needs. We spent some time walking the grounds, too, and I can absolutely see myself returning to drink some rosé by the pool in summer.“
“One of my top 3 wine tasting experiences. The tasting room is a cozy setting - reservations required ahead of time.We had the pleasure of meeting Andrew Beckham, owner & ceramic artist. He shared the family journey of how the estate came to be a ceramic studio & wine vineyard, and what inspired them to dedicate their skills towards organic and eco-consciously produced wine. Our visit ended with a tour of the large terracota vessels in the production area - highly recommended! The red wines are smooth and soft compared to other traditional red wines (probably due to the aging process). The whites are on the fruitier side, good for the warmer season.“
“We celebrated my daughters 35th birthday with her friends recently and had a wonderful time! From start to finish everyone including Ellie and Genevieve were so gracious, caring and made my daughters day special!! Definitely the best winery to host a celebration and enjoy their beautiful views and wonderful wines! Thank you to Ellie and Genevieve. ?“
“Absolutely a must-visit winery. The tastes they've accomplished with the same varietals being sold everywhere are extraordinary. Both the owners are fun, down-to-earth, and such a joy to talk to. The property is beautiful (even after an ice storm!). If you are visiting from out of town and are looking for a high quality winery, or if you are local and haven't tried this place yet, I cannot recommend it enough. We had a total blast and are already planning our return trip.“
“I wish I had a personal vehicle to visit Blizzard more often. This past weekend, a friend and I visited for the first time and had an absolute blast. Aelis was our server; honestly, they felt more like a friend after our experience. The space is fantastic inside and out. I fell in love with the outdoor patio tables spaced far enough apart for privacy, and the large umbrellas and table fireplaces make this very cozy. While there are several flight options, I would recommend ordering a selection of them for your group if you are open to sharing. We went for two, including the Blizzard Champagne flight. While our reservation was for 90 minutes, we were so comfortable and happy that we stayed for nearly four hours. Aelis informed us about the wines, histories, and more. The charcuterie board is well-priced and substantial, so I recommend this. Ginger, the vineyard doggo, will definitely come and say hello. I would consider becoming a member here since it is difficult to come by good quality and reasonably priced Champagne in America. Blizzard's story and unique market share are a win for anyone looking for good vibes. However, you probably won't have fun here if you bring ego. Enjoy!I'll definitely be back.“
“Superb wine! Our group of 6 friends all found multiple favorites...even the cicerone!!! The setting is stunning as is the entire region. Best of all, Bill and Sandy make you feel like guests in their home and the depth of their knowledge that they are willing to share is wonderful.“
“All of the staff members, Becca, Stephen, and crew, are always a pleasure to visit! We love coming up here with the whole family (dogs included) and are always welcomed with large smiles and great wine! We love the lemonade and extra activities too! The perfect spot for a mid-week break or weekend visit with friends. We highly recommend Raptor Ridge to everyone we talk to!“
“I was introduced to Oregon Rieslings at home in Michigan at a nice restaurant.. Elk Cove in Oregon. In Oregon for a couple weeks.. stopped here between AirBnBs.. and all the white wines were tasty. However, the best was their Pinot Rose! We plan to buy some later and have it shipped home to Michigan!“
“I’m not sure who is doing the hiring at Rex Hill, but wow are they nailing it! Absolutely the best team there, from Jonathan, to Doug, Jeff, Joan, Zoe, Kristi, Rylee and of course, the most wonderful Chef Billy. The wine is absolutely fantastic, but the hospitality is above and beyond, 20/10. We can’t get enough of this place!“
“Such good pricing for amazing wines! Really nice family atmosphere too, got to play some pool with my visiting family. The lady working there was so welcoming as well and enthusiastic about not only the wine but the history of the winery. We left with over 7 bottles of wine due to such great deals and diversity of flavors that made everyone at the table happy, including those who normally didn't like wine!“
“We have been members at Archer for nearly 10 years. Can't believe I haven't submitted a review before but feel compelled to do so now. My wife and I moved from Oregon to San Diego 5 years ago but still remain members and get our wine delivered quarterly to our home in Southern California. We came to Oregon this weekend and stopped in at the tasting room in Dundee. Sara greeted us w a smile (as always!) and a glass of the always pleasant Sheru Pinot Gris. So crisp and refreshing!! Sara and her staff are always so accommodating and knowledgeable about the wine but they also serve beer and in a wine glass that is a fun alternative. Thank you to Archer for always meeting/exceeding our expectations. Can't wait to come back again!“
“Everyone was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine. The view was beautiful, even on an overcast day. The tasting room had a very cozy atmosphere, and the wine was great. We ended up leaving with a bottle of champagne for the new year!“
“What a great tasting room! We learned so much from Matthew. Wow, the knowledge, love and dedication he has put into learning the wine making process is unremarkable. The wine from this vineyard is some of the best wines I’ve ever tasted and the experience we had from Matthew was second to none. I highly recommend!“
“Great experience. Being a member really has its privileges. Tastings are fabulous. Delicious wines. Great friendly knowledgeable staff. Always put together a wonderful experience. Local artist display their work. Walk ins welcome recommended a reservation.“
“Met Kerry for the first time today and enjoyed his wine and life wisdom along with DELICIOUS WINES! The hour or so we spent together was superb! The wines are perfectly priced—and we Highly recommend this tasting experience! Still, If we were in a “higher income bracket” I am sure we would have purchased several cases! We picked a few favorites and will definitely come back’“
