TLDR: service is so slow. Expect to eat 1-1.5 hours after ordering. It isn’t like me to leave a review, especially a negative review, but I was very disappointed. We got seated quickly but nobody came by for a good 15-20 minutes. At that time we got our order in. One hour after we ordered, I decided to go ask someone to check on our food because at this point I wanted to just leave. They were kind and checked on it and it finally came out. My order was wrong (supposed to be no cheese). I didn’t speak up because I was so hungry by this point and didn’t care enough. Food was fine but nothing special. I’ve worked in restaurants and know things can go wrong, so don’t fault the staff and still left a decent tip, but the lack of communication was really really disappointing. If we knew it would take an hour and forty minutes from when we sat down to when we got to eat we would have ordered an appetizer to curb our hunger or would have gone somewhere else. Should have read others reviews before choosing this place - seems like slow is a common theme.

My husband and I went to Silverton for some antiquing and decided to stop by for a quick lunch. Unfortunately for us, it was not quick at all. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was friendly, and we got seated right away even though it seemed like there was a lunch rush. Once we were seated, it took about 15 minutes for our order to be taken. Again, it seemed like there was a lunch rush, so we didn't mind. While we were waiting on our food, the crowd dissipated fairly quickly, and there was only a handful of tables left, with other couples. We ended up waiting for almost an hour until our food arrived. I ordered the daily special, and my husband ordered 'the logger'. Both meals were potatoes and eggs, so there isn't any reason that would take an hour to prepare. The serving sizes were fairly large, and the food was good, but the wait time to get the food ruined the positives. It took us about 15 minutes to eat. We contemplated leaving multiple times throughout the wait but decided to wait it out. Unfortunately, the taste and size of the food doesn't make up for how slow it was prepared.TLDR, don't waste your time, and go somewhere else.

Lunch was delicious, best cheddar broccoli soup ever. Have decided to move to Silverton so I can eat there every day.

Went inside, stood at the entrance for a while and no one greeted me. Asked for a menu and sat down. Waited at least 10 minutes. Again, no one checked on me. It was about 5pm and there was one large family at a table and one man at the bar. I felt like they were completely uninterested in me as a customer and/or too occupied with serving the large family. I left and went somewhere else.

The fish and chips were disappointing to say the least. They were way overcooked, because apparently they take frozen fish already battered and throw them into the deep fryer. I recommend staying away from this menu item.

Great food, well prepared with lots of flavors going on. Do go for unique food. Don't go for large plates of plain food.

Slow service, i ordered a peato chicken dandwish, the menu indicated i could get half. The wItress told me no, i must have an old menu. Really, when you make a menu change you don't make sure you pulled all your menus? You don't honor your mistake? She did not offer to make it right, she did not offer me any options, they just acted like it was no big deal.I ended up ordering soup and salad. The salad was great put the chili not so much, there were no extras on that as in sour cream or cheese or even onions. Was not impressed

I love this place. They have lots of gluten free options. Our servers are always awesome. I just wish it didn't take an hour from ordering to food on the table. If it wasn't so delicious I wouldn't wait. Luckily they have board games to entertain the kids while we wait.

We had a great breakfast and cappuccino here! Very friendly service, big bowls of oatmeal with fruit and nuts, chicken fried streak, big amounts of food. Nice mugs and individual touches.

So this would have been a 4 star review because the food WAS delicious, however it became clear to me after dining that their gluten-free sandwiches do not have a dedicated grill. And for people with Celiac's, that's a bit of a deal breaker.Dietary restrictions: Not safe for Gluten-intolerant peoples.
