Inside was cute. It was cluttered in their dinning area with boxes and loose inventory laying around. The shop was cool. Not a ton of stuff for my taste, but I know a lot of people that would like the store. Food time! We never smelled any food cooking, spinach dip took 30mins at the 50min mark of no sandwiches, still no REGULAR CHIA TEA (hot water and a tea bag) and being ignored when we asked for the tea a second time. We just paid for what we got and left. I dont know what the deal was, but that WASP our experience.

Made a reservation for a party of four for high tea. Two of the ladies took the day off work, one lady drove 140 miles round trip for the occasion. We arrived at the Cafe only to discover a hand written note on the door, " closed today". Need I say more?

This place has a small town/old school vibe, which has pluses and minuses. We were in a bit of a hurry and didn't expect to wait 20 mins for two sandwiches (I called about 5 mins ahead and they said it would take 10 mins); however one person was responsible for making sandwiches and drinks and she was training someone too so that may have contributed. The elderly shopkeeper from the adjoining home goods shop (perhaps the owner of both) chatted with me while I waited. It was hard to be bothered because the staff were all friendly and the food was yummy at a good price. We got the chicken salad sandwich and turkey panini, each quite good and they came with ruffles and apple slices for $12 each. We also ordered a chai latte, which was on the menu for only $3 (no milk substitutes available) but cancelled the order due to our rush so we didn't get to try it. We did get a fancy chocolate bar though! I would go again if I ordered further in advance or planned to peruse the gift shop and adjoining flower shop while waiting for the food and drink.

The staff here is like family; beautiful gift shop with an attached cafe that serves wonderful, bountiful meals. High tea is served by appointment. Also, a great place for small group meetings.

Driving out of my way to have the Maderia salad, I've had this salad several times before and loved it but this time they forgot the blue cheese and hazelnuts ??

Had a chicken sandwich this week and it was very good. The waitress said it comes with chips, soup or salad and I had tortilla soup which was good. But when the bill came I was charged 16.00 for the sandwich and a coke! YIKES!

Excellent food! I had the Peppered Turkey Sandwich and my husband had the Chicken Salad Sandwich. Each one enough for two meals. Everything was so fresh

Wonderful dining experience here!! Food is delicious, excellent quality ingredients. Great value for the quality. We had the chicken enchiladas special which was phenomenal, and the blackberry vinaigrette is delicious. Plus the restaurant is connected to an adorable home store, so we strolled through after lunch. Definitely going again to try something else!

Terrible afternoon tea experience. The first round was scones and tomato soup which didn’t at all go together. Then there was eggs and tortilla roll ups for the second course. The eggs had a huge hair on the plate (we were the only people in the restaurant and the server didn’t even notice.) She barely apologized and didn’t do anything to make up for the situation. After that I completely lost my appetite. We asked to box up the food and the waitress was rude and continued to make us feel uncomfortable. We were charged for the entire amount and left feeling nauseated and only having a few bites of food. Completely blown away from the experience. Do not recommend going here for afternoon tea nothing like I have previously been too.
