I've eaten here with my family many times in the past and I'm sure I will in the future this last time though I went there I was seated along the back wall if you make a left when you enter little pond go all the way left without going into the other room on the back wall, I sat, and there was black mold all over the back wall, and on the seat I was sitting on. When I looked closer, I saw these details and was horrified. I loved the food and have gone here for many years. I have not gone back since because I am in fear that what I saw in public is much worse and private regarding the food possibly I hope they fix these problems clean the restaurant up. Nicely and invite me back for a recheck, and I will update the review.

This review is based on the food quality for take-out service and not on the ambiance, as we normally just do take-out. We enjoy the food variety, and the quality has improved tremendously since the restaurant was bought by new owner. We enjoyed the coconut sauce shrimp, steak and broccoli, squid, sautéed shrimp and vegetables, mussels, roasted eggplant, and the sushi. You can't beat the price of $9.99 per pound for cooked seafood and sushi. We'll be back for more delicious takeout food.

What happened to China Sun buffet? I have loved them for many years but all of a sudden their food has changed. Everything sucks now. They must have gotten a new cook because everything is bad. I won't be going back.

It's been years. Don't usually goto places like this but thought I'd try it out. Wish I didn't. Tried Japanese chicken, mushrooms chicken, coconut shrimp, and fried rice. It was all cold. Tables all steaming hot, thought it would be okay. It wasn't. Would not go back. Gunk on soy sauce bottles, hot sauces at table were empty and sticky. Saturday and Sunday are $15.99 and sodas are $4 . Happy eating!

I gave 1 star for fresh fruit(Coz Google does not allow 0 stars) Cold food lack of cleaning ,staffs aren't helpful. We went there before ,food was ok with the old owner but we went there again 4/17/24 food is cold and some items we like have been removed . No more sushi bar ,no more crab and cheese rangoon ,no more shrimp in white sauce , etc..chicken wings were cold and dry.We saw couple of flys flying around,Siracha sauce bottle was very dirty at the noozle.The tables were dirty.Seem like bad poor manangement.We won't go back again!!!! bye.

There's a lot of negative reviews for this place but I didn't buy it, decently priced, they were on TOP of keeping the food filled up and fresh, the food for the most part was pretty damn good literally the only thing I didn't like was the kimchi, besides that all of the staff were super nice, bubbly soda, good meat. Very good bang for your buck.

The food here was quite satisfying, offering a delightful experience with each bite! The service complemented the meal nicely--attentive and efficient. While the ambiance was generally pleasing, the space felt a bit tight, which might not suit everyone. Overall, a commendable dining experience that merits a solid four stars.

Update (5 years later) still mediocre. Beef dishes had been sitting sonlong that they had dried to Jerry like texture on the sides. Nothing tasted good. It all looked gross. Except the fresh fruits. I won't be back.Not sure what happened.. came in a month ago and everything was fresh and flavorful. Walking out the door now and completely dissatisfied. We were in here for an hour, from 730 till 830 and half the dishes were never filled. Dry crusty noodles stuck in the pan, never filled and everything else was extremely bland; except the fresh fruit and the dumplings. I will give them this, they always have the best fresh fruit. But everything else was mediocre tonight. Hope things get back to the same quality as before.

My little brother wanted to come here for his birthday, and we had never been. I wish I never came to this place. The food was disgusting. They charged me for my 1 year old and my 8 year old who literally ate nothing from this place. I’m so disappointed that I was charged $80 and some change to eat at this place. Never again.
This is a place we frequent regularly as a family. The staff is always friendly, the food is good and there is a lot of variety of ready to eat food items. They also have a grill which is fun, you get to select your own favorites and they cook it for you in a reasonable time frame. I'm not a huge sushi fan, but even that is good. There is something for most everyone and it is always satisfying. We do dine in most times, but there have been a few times we chose take out, you get a to go container and place whatever you like in it from the line of food options. No matter how you do it, it is worth it!Vegetarian options: There is a salad bar and the hot options have some vegetarian options as well.Parking: It can get busy, but the parking lot is large and we've always found a spot.Kid-friendliness: They have always been great to my kids, we've been going for years and they always make it a family friendly place. There are enough food options even picky eaters can find something they'd like.

I had to make a point of changing my years old 5 star rating. Echoing others here but this isn't China Sun anymore. Food is not good. Gets left on the steam table too long. It's not clean. Service is non-existent. Its too expensive. It's a shame. Used to really like this place. Now I'm too worried about getting sick to ever go back.
