Fantastic food. Best steak I've ever eaten. Seriously. The. Best. One. Ever.Tasty and interesting sides like chicken nuggets that have karage vibes. The miso mayo paired with it was delish. The rolls were fluffy and yummy, but nothing really special. The truffle butter/honey it was served with, however, was incredible.Duck fat potatoes were solid and riiiiiich. The baked Brie came with hazelnut filled spicy truffle honey. Holy bazinga! The steak was perfectly cooked. Zero gray band, just wall-to-wall medium rare. Put a little truffle butter on top and you're eating food of the gods. Just wow.You can bring your own wine too! (Still have to pay corkage).Only real critique is the size of the booths. I'm a 6'2" average sized guy and I almost didn't fit.

We absolutely loved this place! A small but mighty menu with great diversity, it's a great dining experience. The vibe of the space was excellent - the bar was a particular highlight, the decor was very intentional and cohesive, and the table-top daffodils were a great touch. We split the baked brie, wedge salad, duck and pork cheeks. All of it was great, but the black garlic coffee rub on the duck was a personal favorite. For drinks, the Smokey "Vesper" was spirit-forward yet delicate and very recommended. The citrus pannacotta was a joy to finish with!

Went last night with family and everything was incredible. Everything about the menu is wonderful-from cocktails to dessert. Our table of six ate every single bite. We had the sesame nuggets & baked Brie special as starters. I split the pork cheek and duck with my partner along with the wedge salad. All phenomenal! Our table split the chocolate moose, citrus panna cota, and fig leaf Sunday. Not a bite was left! Highly recommend George & Violet’s for any occasion.

Terrible service, 2 stars only because the food was good.Tried to have a nice dinner with my family and Katy made that difficult two nights in a row. The first night she refused us and the second night she was extremely unprofessional and standoffish. She asked if we were "actually going to take our order to go" because "to go containers are really expensive" if I'm spending this much on a burger then I shouldn't be admonished for wanting to eat dinner at home.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants and they gutted the menu and got rid of the only items me and my wife were interested in. If I want ramen I’ll go to an actual ramen restaurant with reasonable prices

Fantastically curated menu. Not too many nor too few options. Everything was great. Steak was perfect. My Ceaser salad made me question my spiritual beliefs. I'm born again, and you could be too. Try it out.

Our go-to fancy casual spot in the Eugene area. Superlative attention to all details of food, drink, and service. Really appreciate their care and consideration with ingredients and about dietary restrictions too! Their specials rotate based on local, seasonal ingredient availability and their main menu gets an update every so often too.If you're looking for a special occasion spot or even just a place to go for a delicious dinner out, George and Violet's is it.Dietary restrictions: Currently cooking with rice bran oil in the kitchen. Staff is very knowledgeable and considerate about any food allergies or other dietary restrictions in your party and will help you work with the kitchen to accommodate.

I was so disappointed with this place. They charge for salad, side and main dish separately. We ordered a salad and it was literally 4 strips of romaine lettuce with a sprinkle of toppings and light dressing (I wish I had a picture of it). Potatoes were bland. The rib eye was unimpressive and no better than you would get at a local bar and it was $60 a la carte. We were so disappointed we didn't even finish it.The atmosphere is like a low budget diner and doesn't feel like a high end restaurant. The wine prices are the highest I've seen for bottles, most of them were $80 or more. We had a bottle of wine, shared a salad and steak and the bill was $133.I had high hopes for this place and it was a splurge to take my wife out on date night. It was not worth it at all and ruined our night.I discussed my disappointment with the server and he didn't get a manager or discount anything (which isn't what I was really looking for).I implore you to consider other options rather than throwing away money at this over priced and over hyped restaurant.

Warm and welcoming. Food was good but sparse for the price. I tried to make a reservation on their website two days in advance and did not receive a response. We were able to get a table when we arrived anyway.I'm hesitant to go back because I am not sure the value is there. But I love the location and atmosphere and would be willing to try again if I saw they made some changes to increase value for patrons.

Pretty much owned by the mayor of Springfield Oregon. I don't know if you're a big fan of the government here but of course if you're aware of so many things it's time to look at the financial side of everything and how they sell HIV and AIDS and they sell covid and what they do is they basically run people through these processes of enlightened interest emotions including fear and they say it helps cook or inoculate or incubate the hiv, the age, the covid-19, covid 21 and then they murder those persons and harvest them or they cook them up in them while they're living. Which do you prefer?youtube.com/shorts/9OSAT…

I can't review the restaurant since I never got the chance to try it. I made a reservation last Thursday online through their website for the Saturday after next at 5. Website stated reservations are not confirmed until you receive an email. I never received an email so I called and left a message stating I never received an email and if someone could call, text or email me back..today is Thursday (a week later) and still nothing..I have decided to take my business and wife elsewhere..its a bummer because I was really looking forward to eating there

Drove 30 minutes to try this restaurant for the first time with a group of firefighters. The restaurant was open till 8:30 and we showed up at 7:15, they declined seating us with more then half the tables open and told us they don’t want to seat anymore because they wanted to get out of there early. Felt disrespected and left.
