I took a risk and tried the fish and chips. I'm writing this so that you don't make the same mistake. They tasted like the frozen kind you get out of a box and cost $15. I don't even think they were filets. The fries were okay. I noticed they upped the price on their burgers. Now they cost $16 for the little things. I used to love NW Burgers, but not anymore and I sure do miss the days when Fisherman's Market was at the Public House.

The food from NW Burger just keeps declining. Last night I had a BLT and the bacon was SO greasy and overcooked at the same time. I ended up snagging a taco from another food place.

Came in for the GCE, and the patty melt was awesome! Nice atmosphere as well.

Delicious chicken wings, hot and meaty and spicy. Just what I needed. Served 6 wings for $12 or 12 for $22. Hubby had the pork over waffle fries, Yumm as well! We were at the Public House and ordered thru their table QR code, nice and easy and brought to the table.

The Portobello burger was bland, toppings insipid and accompanying fries looked like the dregs. All small & crispy with lots of crumbs, with a couple of plastic packets of ketchup. Not worth the $16 price tag. Hope the employees are paid well because the food does not merit the price. We will not be returning to this place. Fast food vibe, seating area nice and roomy, in old church.

I'm glad I came here to check the reviews.I think the owners need to look from within. Look at what people really want, and give em something different. Make some unhealthy fat happy people food. Those garlic fry pics look pitiful.

Honestly I don’t know why anyone would pay $18 for this burger when Chow is within walking distance. The patty was super tiny compared to the bun, the fries were generic, and there wasn’t any flavor. The habanero wasn’t even mildly spicy. I was hoping we hit an off day, but from the other reviews our experience seems standard. The burgers they have in their own advertising do not look like what you receive. I know ppl will keep eating here because the atmosphere is cool, but Chow has much better burgers for the same price. Overall, I’m angry I wasted time, money, and a meal on this place.

Gave the food a 3 because the taste is D-licious! However, portions are really small for what you pay (on certain items). I ordered the fish and chips ($19) which are made with cod. You get 2 fish stick sized beer battered cods and a plate full of microwaved looking french fries. Still yummy, I just wish there was more of the good stuff..ya know.. but customer service is very friendly, and they run a tight ship. Should I find myself to be financially fruitful, I may return. The place was a tad crowded, that night, but we went as a group of like 20 in their defense. The tent area is nice though the tables are a bit old and worn. We went for my brothers birthday. We sang happy birthday, and everyone eating there that night chimed in. It was really cool. Great experience and neat idea for a restaurant. Costly, and not the most kid friendly place. If you don't mind the semi-deafening roars of lots and lots of people chattering and eating, could make for a fun night out.Vegetarian options: Rice and ramen bowls. A tad bit confusing. My 11 yr old ordered a ramen bowl. But it came with only rice. Very little meat, mostly rice and veggies. Taste was OK.

Northwest Burger makes a wonderful addition to the Public House family. This is my favorite destination for remote work in Springfield, and now that NW Burgers is there, I finally have a go-to for food orders. THEIR FRIES! Definitely my favorite fries in the area. On my most recent trip I ordered a small portion of ranchalo fries (sans bacon) and with the combination of the buffalo sauce and blue cheese it was an explosion of complex yet complimentary flavors. Also the fries are fried to perfection. Neary perfect crispy fries. Looking forward to ordering from here again during me next remote work trip to Public House.

This is probably personal preference, but these burgers are 85% patty and I was not a fan. You barely get anything else in terms of topping. There wasn't a lot of flavor. The fries were good though. The habenero ranch was not spicy but the spicy Ketchup was. I probably wouldn't choose to eat here again especially for the prices.
