My Cobb salad was more like a house salad. Also, I ordered a glass of chardonnay and the waitress brought me red wine.

********DO NOT BUMP MY REVIEW.... RIDICULOUS********First off the only redeeming quality of dinner tonight was our Server Mathieu S.The family and I arrived at 4pm Sunday the 25th. We caught wind of a promotion that was being offered and figured that it would be worth a shot of trying somewhere that we haven't been in a long time.Upon arriving we were met with an overall bait-n-switch which soured many in our party. The offerings were different than the advertised promotion with many of them included an additional charge which was not what was promoted online. I informed the waiter Mathiew and he got the manager so that I could talk to her about it. The overall response that we got was an "Oh well, sorry", or the "Well I suppose if a dollar or two is going to be too much for you".... was not impressed and we were off to a bad start. Fast forward another 10-15 minutes after we placed our order and we start to hear cussing and screaming coming from the kitchen. We are hearing things crashing and breaking and then the fight happening in the kitchen spills out to less than 5 feet from where our group is sitting. As one of the cooks is screaming out F bombs and other obscenities I can't but help notice that my four year old whose sitting next to me is taking all the chaos in wide eyed. After the cook leaves the establishment our waiter Mathieu comes over to apologize for what we witnessed on what was supposed to be a nice evening out with the family. But what we never got was the manager. She never once came out to us or any other guest that witnessed and heard the entire thing. At this point most the party wants to just leave but we stuck it out. After an hour and ten minutes after arriving to a mostly empty restaurant we recieve our meals. My meat was overdone, my uncles meat was overdone and tiny. My grandmother's and wife's were underdone for their liking. But still we stuck it out. Overall the food wasn't that bad just rather disappointing. The cheese cake that followed was also a highlight. Everyone enjoyed it.However even with a few highlights there was far too many glaring issues for our family. The manager was extremely unprofessional and seemed to not care one bit about anyone's enjoyment of eating at the establishment. This was shown by the snarky comments in relation to the promotion bait-n-switch and the lack of care that the dining room just witnessed two of her chefs Duke it out right next to MY FAMILY.If the franchise owner dosent care that this is how things are being handled then that's fine. To receive no apology or compensation is an absolute slap in the face to those entering this establishment. We will not be going back. We will continue to enjoy other establishments as we normally do and the OutBack Steakhouse will leave a sour taste In our mouth.Mathieu S. you did a fantastic job. You did exactly as you should have in that situation and I do hope you the best.Kid-friendliness: Must not be kid friendly if two cooks can be screaming and cussing in the lobby in front of my 4 year old and the manager says and does nothing afterwards.

Love Outback Steakhouse! We don't have one in Bend anymore, so we had to go to the Eugene location while we were in town. I ordered my favorite appetizer - bloomin onion - now I'm a happy camper!

They have a serious problem with their website!!! Due to this restaurant can’t make a reservation or phone call to reserve seats beforehand, the only option is to sign in the waitlist from their website (link from their menu tab on the front page). However, when we arrived, the employees told us anything on the website does not connect to their system, which is super unnecessary. You either have a note states that the website doesn’t work or just delete the waitlist option from the website because without any notice, and consumers would have to waste plenty of time for waiting for new tables to get assigned. I believed they have been accused for this problem multiple times but no actions have been taken. There are a lot of people waiting just because of the misinformation from your website. People would have to wait for additional 30~ 45 minutes for their table. Next, they don’t have much issue with their dishes, but a bit too salty for me (based on personal preferences). I ordered a 13oz rib eye with extra marble ($37.99) and it’s as the same size of my hand (adult hand size). Whereas the can be more cautious of their steak doneness. I ordered medium (the middle of the steak is near medium) but the cap area seams rare, and I prefer the crust on the surface of the steak could be more crisp. Other dishes are quite simple and slightly above average. Overall, the workers are nice and friendly, but they have a serious issue with their website waitlist system. Hopefully they can make some changes.

Great new place to try out. Only disappointed on the steak flavor a little. Made properly, just without enough taste to it as well for the prices is all.

I had the prime rib sandwich and it was very delicious! I was visiting from out of town and staying at a nearby hotel. I loved the sandwich so much that I placed a to-go order the next day for lunch! They had clam chowder that day as well, and I highly recommend!
