“Some friends and I are exploring the area in search of the best Onion Rings, now Sharky's is supposed to have the #1 Burger, but how were they? Not gonna recomend them as they were 'Cunchy' in a not good sort of way. The Bacon Blue Burger was delish however....so some redemption here.Wheelchair accessibility: First Floor, roll in/out.“

“It's a great place to hang out after a grueling workout of martial arts training. There are a plentiful variety of beers and other alcoholic drinks. If you're into eating animal flesh and consuming modified bovine lactation, then this is the best place for you.Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options, if you exclude the tap water. The closest option are the sweet potato fries. I've no idea what variety of oil they use to fry the sweet potato fries with.Parking: I had my car broken into there late in the evening. I parked alongside the Albertsons. I lost a side window due to a smash and grab, along with my backpack that held a sweaty Gi. There are no video cams that have sight of the parking lot in question. For safety's sake park in front or the rear. Those have cameras.“

“Taco Tuesday is ON POINT here~~ hands down the best tacos a Tuesday can offer. I've had tacos all over town and the Birria offerings far surpass most, if not (easily) all. The cooks have it down (there were 2 behind the scenes last week). The bartenders were super engaging and busy busting tail-- easily managing to keep up with all the drinkers, pool players and diners. Barkeep Michael greeted us the moment we walked up and kept us on our toes with his salty style of humor, sarcasm and sass. We felt very welcome and highly (happily) entertained and content. He made me the perfect $5 margarita, to boot. It's Saturday now and I've been thinking about those tacos all week long and hoping the same staff is there next visit for Taco Tuesday... hopefully next week! Well played, Highlands.“

“We had a company event at The Pub at Laurelwood. After having worked and visited Eugene many times, the golf course and Pub location was a refreshing surprise. It is tucked in the hills, gorgeous trees and stunning views from The Pub exterior seating. The atmosphere is super super causal, staff is welcoming and helpful. We had a catered meal and they set it up so quickly. Food was your traditional pub food - yummy comfort food. The staff were all so gracious, quick with filling drink orders and they didn't mind our ruckus group. I did not golf but the co-workers that did loved it. It was also a sunny hot day in October so that made it even better!“

“So I absolutely love The Old Pad. We come often for late night normally and breakfast. I especially love the tacos on Tuesdays so imagine my disappointment when tonight we came in to discover not only no taco Tuesday but also no tacos at all. This is so sad. Please please bring back the tacos they are simple and delicious. We the South Eugene community need these tacos to satisfy our late night cravings!!!!!!!“

“I've been here for booze before, but it was the first time for a meal, and it was great! I went with the steak fingers and requested an off menu horseradish type sauce and cook delivered. Fries were very delicious and crisp-worth coming back for. I paired with a pinot and couldn't have been happier! Disregard the numbers on my food, I was celebrating my bday. It's worth noting that the bathroom is the nicest and cleanest in town!“

“Service was less than expected. Food was mediocre with undersized over cooked portions. Our server seemed disinterested in providing quality service and was not familiar with the menu when I asked questions. The river seating is what makes this location a draw but unfortunately our personal experience does not allow us to recommend nor will we return in the near future.“

“The food was phenomenal! I ordered Pulled Pork Biscuit Sliders that were served with zesty, zingy slaw. The porcine shredded texture varied between crunchy and succulent, was redolent of brown sugar and played against the buttery biscuits just right! It took quite a while to be greeted by the wait-staff, which was understandable due to the Chiefs vs. Bills game ?! I settled in with a yummy and fresh Ginger Beer ? paired with two lime wedges which a bartender served to me with a smile. The salad ? was a work of art.Bite!Into a Crouton crumbled over spiral sliced red and white onions, vibrant orange carrots and purple beets, arugula, and spinach. I chose to mix it up by combining Creamy Buttermilk Ranch dressing with the zip of Balsamic Vinaigrette.I left satisfied.Vegetarian options: I recommend their salad a thousand times over. Vegetarians will enjoy tater tots, onion rings, and graveyard fries with cheese. The options suffice for a vegetarian, but I would only recommend the salad ? for a vibrant and healthy choice.“

“My memory of lunch from a few years ago had me wondering if this was the place for dinner. We started the evening with some lovely drinks. I like the variety on the menu, they even started carrying a new cider from Central Oregon. Apps were on point. I like the sauce that came with the wings (I think it was teryaki) but the winner for me was the hummus platter. That bread was delish!!! I didn't try the pizza but others liked it and it disappeared quickly. Delicious, fresh salad, soup was nice. We had a great variety for dinner. I opted for the chicken with yummy Yukon mashed potatoes. Fish & chips was tasty. The medallions were tender and amazing as well. Pasta was great! Portion sizes were enough for a to go box! Brownies to cap it off but the spot. I'm sorry I failed to get pics, I definitely will for you next time... which will be soon!“
