The food was great and the prices were acceptable. The atmosphere was that of a bar (a couple of noisy, tipsy chicks behind us and a very noisy guitarist. All of that would have been fine if we had gone in to be in a bar to drink and prowl, but we were looking for a cozy dinner spot for good food and talk.

Just had Valentine’s Day Steak and Lobster dinner… totally not worth the price of $55 per plate. Both steaks were ordered medium, but they came rare. Dinners were supposed to come with broccoli, but my partner didn’t get broccoli on his plate. Melted butter was supposed to come with the lobster, but neither one of us got melted butter. Had to wait for our waitress to come back around to fix all this. She took my steak back to cook more, but it was only CHARRED on the outside and still rare on the inside. This is the third time we’ve had dinner here and will never be back. Go to Zim’s or Portage Grill.

Food was okay but when it was time to pay our Server Hailey just left the machine for us to pay and select tip. No where did it say we were already being charged gratuity but of course it made us tip again .. so ask for a printed recipe before paying .. what a shame .

I stopped in on Christmas evening and grabbed a drink and got some food to-go. When I asked to cash out I was given a machine with the total and suggestions for tip. I left a tip and asked for asked for a receipt. When I got home I look at the receipt and turns out I was charged gratuity on top of my tip. If the bartender would’ve told me, there was a gratuity I wouldn’t be upset, but deliberately hiding the gratuity and taking advantage of peoples kindness upsets me. It makes me wonder what other kinds of other shady things do they do there? This establishment has lost me as a customer!
Gone are the days of The Vault now renamed and rebranded into a local pub with nice selection of whiskeys and beers on tap serving breakfast and lunch and dinner came in for a burger and fries a little expensive but still nice little

The Frenchie is absolutely amazing, but honestly it's the service that makes us keep coming back. They make us feel very welcome even with a toddler, and last week I lost my ring and the girls working there literally went dumpster diving and found it! They are so kind!
