Between fighting the 5-6 flies inside for my food and chewing on stems from the pepperoncinis, I will not be returning.

Ordering online was easy and you can customize your sandwich and add stuff. It was ready quickly and the staff was very nice. I got a club sandwich and added avocado with a side of potato salad. The potato salad tasted like they literally repackaged Reser's from the grocery store. It wasn't bad, but I guess I was expecting a little more. The regular sandwich was big and you can easily split it for a couple meals or for later. It wasn't really anything special. Sort of wished they had (or maybe I should have requested) seasoned the tomatoes and lettuce a little more and used more mayo. It was kind of a bland, subway-esq sandwich. The bread held up nice though. It's a chain restaurant btw.Tldr; it was OK - I wouldn't recommend it to someone else, but would eat it in a pinch.

Twice I’ve put in my order on Door dash, came to the location to pick up my order and not only was it not started, after the app said it was ready, 3 people waiting in line ahead of me just putting in their orders, received their orders before mine! which had been placed 15 minutes before theirs!!!. I lost the time to even eat my lunch on my break just waiting for my order. Please people get your stuff together! This is totally ridiculous. If I am ever asked to recommend your business to my coworkers, I would probably tell them to steer clear.

Sandwich (pastrami on cheese bread with lettuce, tomato, banana pepper, jalapeno and provolone) was very fresh, toppings had a great crunch and the bread was significantly different (compared to other recent sandwiches at other shops) since this was fresh baked. Made a difference to me. Will go back.

it's been a few years since I've been to Tigard Big Town Hero and boy have they gone downhill! staff was friendly and service was quick, but the sandwich was not even worth half of the ~$10 cost. Have you seen the memes where they show a sandwich with a little triangle of cheese at the very edge of the sandwich to make it appear as if there's a full slice in there? that is similar to what they do here! The meat and the cheese triangles and tomato slices were carefully placed at the outer edge of the sandwich to give a nice appearance but the inner half of the sandwich had nothing on it! Also very skimpy on condiments. Def my last visit here!

Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday after a Home Depot trip. I ordered an 8" tuna sandwich. I didn't have to wait, service was friendly with lots of smiles. Everything tasted fresh, but wow is it *bland*! I jazzed it up a little with the salt and vinegar chips, and wolfed it down. Good, but could easily be better.

Why not good? Let me start with price. $12.25 for a regualr sub sandwiched. Bad enough if a good sandwiche. One thin slice of ham, folded in half, one slice eof American cheese, lettuce, one thin slice of tomato with mayonaise. The ham was tasteless, the bread was tasteless, the sandwich was tasteless. First and last stop here I would think. The service was good!

Ordered 3 French dips. They all were ice cold even though they're listed under "Warm Subs"

In general, this is an awesome sandwich shop with great food and quick service. Today was rough, though. I tried to call in an order for takeout around lunch. I have a limited lunch break and work in a warehouse where it's not really possible to eat lunch on the go, so I try to save as much time as possible by calling ahead. The guy who answered the phone asked if he could put me on hold, but then just set the phone on the counter and seemed to forget about it. I listened to him take a few other orders with plenty of time to come back to me before hanging up and calling again, but because the phone was off the hook, I couldn't get through. No big deal -- I just drove over to place my order in person, planning on eating it fast on the way back. The same guy who left me hanging on the phone was at the counter, airpods in and acting a little spacey. We placed our order and there was no line so I didn't think there would be much of a wait, but by the time three other people had come and gone with their orders, I asked about mine. He had never sent it into the kitchen. After spending my entire lunch break trying to call in and then waiting for an order that hadn't been placed, I finally got back to work before realizing I hadn't gotten what I'd ordered...he hadn't even taken the order correctly. Big Town Hero is my favorite place to grab lunch, so I'm really disappointed by this experience. I don't blame the restaurant at all because these issues were caused by one guy who was maybe just having a bad day, but I will probably think twice about ordering again depending on who answers the phone.
