I know! I know!! Was it clean? Well, yes. It was brilliant. Nothing sticky on the floor. Windows and tables are very clean. Nice!So, thinking I wanted a Carnitas Burrito, I was informed that they don't do Carnitas, but they have a close second. Alas! It wasn't. Meats are to be seasoned (Asada) via marinade, so flavours blend and roll subtly and well balanced so that the tounge enjoys the experience as well as the mouth and stomach. This was not that experience. The meat was clean! I mean, like it had been added to the centre of the burrito, and then some seasoned things tossed in, and the tortilla then rolled, and cheese melted atop of it. It was not a great eating experience. Add to that the more than six or seven times I got a hard piece of rice! Old? Reheated? Not cooked? Who knows? I know it was hard and only added to my disappointment. Seriously! One grain in one hundred? Sure! But this was not cool! The beans were good. Smooth, creamy, and nicely seasoned without too much salt like some other restaurants are wonton to do.It was the #17 in the event enquiring minds wish to know...

Awesome service. All the servers are so friendly. Food is good. Blended frozen margaritas are to die for. They come in lots of flavors. (I had mango, it was delicious!) Complimentary chips and salsa were good. We upgraded to guacamole, and it was amazing with their warm, traditional style tortilla chips. Overall very pleased with our experience.

Food always excellent, service even betterEl Sol de Mexico is best restaurant of any type in TigardOnce you eat here, you will happily return until you move away or switch to intravenous nutrition in your final days decades later

We got the chorizo with eggs and huevos rancheros, totally disgusting, everything premade, the server was kind of rude and even seen I didn’t touch my food he didn’t asked to take it off, if you want to go for poison, this is the place….!

Sorry guys. It's Mexican food. Not serious ingredients.Tortilla, cheese, meat or vegetables...Over priced. And I live two blocks away, order 2 miles away to get better Mexican food with better & more reasonable prices.
I have never had such a bad experience, the manager who denied giving me his name was beyond disrespectful I advised the order was not what I wanted but I’d deal with it, if he can swap the chicken tamale out for the pork as it tasted rotten he said yes but he would have to charge I said no that’s not fair the food is not healthy why would I pay he continued to argue with me and told me to get out I asked why was he being that way he replied” I never had a complaint you should of know what you ordered” I will be taking this further

Just today I noticed the daily special sign, a Chimichanga with beans and rice for $9. That includes chips and salsa, so honestly now days that is a bargain. The food is good too, it may not be the best ever, but at least good to very good and service is fast, food tastes fresh and is hot. I will keep coming here as long it keeps tasting good and fresh, which sadly these days isn't easy to find.I have also had the chicken burrito and can't recall the name of the really big burrito, both were good.

It was OK. We try different Mexican (few have authentic dishes) restaurants. Before a show in Tigard, we decided to go to this one. We still are searching for a good one after out favorite in Beaverton closed years ago. That said, El Fuentes in Tigard is very good, but seating is limited and service can be quite slow.
