Food is usually great, but at this location (been to three) the pasta was well over cooked. Soft. Sauce great as usual. Service excellent. Maybe it was an off night. Never experienced soft pasta before. But at this location...hmmm.

My partner and I have been fans of Pastini but had not eaten at the Bridgeport location. There was a nearly hour wait to get seated on a Saturday night, but boy was it worth it. We got excellent service from Ina, who was friendly, willing to answer any questions, and prompt in delivering our food. Prices here are excellent for the value of the food you get. Their pesto is some of the freshest I've ever had, and I fell in love with the meat sauce pasta that my boyfriend ordered. Even better was the soup of the day, which was a bacon corn chowder, that I'll definitely be craving for a long time. For dessert, they have a few good options that they typically offer at Italian restaurants, and we'd highly recommend their gelato. The restaurant was nice and clean, simple but comforting yet classy. Excellent experience here and we plan to return for sure (we just hope the chowder will be there when we do).
This is a place that specializes in pasta, and yet their pasta is so bad!! Went for a birthday dinner with my family, got the Mac and cheese, and it was probably one of the worst I’ve ever had. It was runny, and so bland, left a really bad taste in my mouth. Not sure why this place has such good reviews.
