A Disappointing Act & A Very Kind One. I just wanted to offer a hearty public thank you to the lovely couple in the white Expedition that gave me a ride from Whole Foods today. And a big public shame on you to the customer service gentleman at the door at Whole Foods in Bridgeport Village this morning. I had walked 20 minutes in this icy wonderland to get Valentine's pastries for our family this morning and when I arrived at Whole Foods, it wasn't open for another hour(they had delayed storm hours, but google said they were open) I was grabbing a cart outside, not knowing this, and the man at the door unlocked and opened it to tell me, in a most condescending way, that they were not open until ten. I don't know why he was so rude and dramatic in pointing at the tiny sign of temporary hours on their door. When I asked if the gentleman knew of the nearest place I could find pastries, he said "There's a Zupans a few miles down the street, you could walk there, sorryyyyyy!" Again, in a very rude and dramatic way as he shut and locked the door. I was asking for help, in a kind way. I'm not sure why he treated me with such disrespect. Walking a few miles in the ice and sleet was not a reasonable plan, so I stood outside googling nearby alternatives. In the five minutes I stood there, a lot more people showed up trying to go into the store and one couple started talking with me about my predicament. They quickly started brainstorming with me, and I found a little cafe a very short distance away. This lovely couple then offered me a ride to the cafe and back home. It's such a reminder that choosing to be kind and helpful to someone who needs a little assistance can go such a long way in spreading goodness. And the opposite can be said for the gentleman who treated me rude dismissiveness. Please always choose kindness. Very small acts can change the whole trajectory of someone's day. Organic Mexican food. What else can you ask for.I love it and the portions aren't small!I mean, it's way better than Chipotle for example!

We stopped by Whole Foods to pick up dinner, what a delight. The hand made deli sandwiches are very good, and they had my favorite ginger cold drinks.

This is the better of the two Whole Foods markets in the area. It has a better selection and is across from Bridgeport Plaza and REI is just next door. They have food to eat there with salad, soup, entree, and main course islands. You can take to go also. A great selection of meats, dairy, bakery and other items. Worth the trip.

Fresh quality food reasonably priced. The butchers choice sausages are highly recommended. The have a good selection of organic chicken.

I wish I had decided to go to another store to buy my frozen duck. I had to look and look and not find it where it used to be...finally asked the butcher and waited to get one HE picked-out for me that had been first frozen three months prior. It cost about $10.00 more for the same size I bought it at before; before Amazon took over Whole Foods. I find that me as their customer is NEVER right when I am dealing with Amazon between the cracks. When push comes to shove, the average Amazon employee (in my experience), is against treating a senior fairly. Whether it is at Whole Foods or on the phone...I looked for two other items I used to get at Whole Foods, and did not buy them because the prices were too much compared to other stores with the same brand and quality. I thought the idea was to offer lower prices when Amazon decided to expand and open more Whole Foods all over???? My daughter in the LA area - says she hadn't noticed lower prices at her Whole Foods too. Yesterday I went to the EXPRESS LANE and there was no sign that said that I was entering THE TWILIGHT ZONE!! I stepped-up to a check-out stand with one customer there before me. I immediately was YELLED AT; berated and totally humiliated for just being there. The checker smirked and seemed to enjoy the whole travesty of the unhuman-kind. Being there made we wish that I had gone to some other store and I will from now on. The checker did not control the situation at all. I guess Amazon decided to turn a fast lane at the market, into a slow, stay back until a checker opens up ordeal----where the customer lingers and acts like they are at a bank taking their own sweet time while the checker (who is getting paid per hour) is in no hurry, and doesn't think that anyone over 55 deserves respect. The checker acted like I hadn't been verbally assaulted and asked me how my day was going (after watching me pick my feelings up off the floor and heart-brokenly carry-on). The customer and the checker didn't tell me that the line started way back behind the check-out stands. Not even one smile from her or helpful orientation of what was needed of me because of what had changed. There was no visible sign either about their new policy. The checker asked me if I wanted a bag---without thinking that she herself would not want to walk out with a frozen duck in HER hands...I guess she was just putting in her time and dealing with people on a circuit, like a robot. NOT the caliber of checkers that used to be at Whole Foods who cared about customers more than that. As a senior, I will recommend that seniors DO NOT take a chance on overspending and being disrespected by other customers there, and especially watch-out for that particular checker that Whole Foods hired & endorses in Tigard. I got the same disrespect once before from Amazon on the phone - that was almost as earth-shaking like that. Seniors come from a business model of "The customer is always right". Now businesses want our money, but they don't want us. We don't matter. And that checker did not need to protect a bully and find entertainment in it. That is just ageism & providing bad customer service, that creates exclusion. I find that at Amazon and they should not bear the good Whole Foods name there in Tigard. Period. My 37 year old son had to watch this heart-breaking treatment of his mother. He told me how much he hates seeing that. Exclusion is not cool Whole Foods checker. No matter how entertaining you think it is.

Actually located across he street from the main part of Bridgeport. Great grocery for healthy options, green products, etc. Don’t expect to buy Fruity Pebbles or Diet Pepsi. Employees are helpful and friendly.

This was a great grocery store with lots of products and lots of daily samples so you could taste while you shop, but sadly all these little perks are gone. Selections have decreased in many areas. They still have good deals from time to time in meat and seafood and with some items you can get an additional 10% off with the Prime app, but this was not the store it once was. Still a pleasant place to shop though.
