MY family and friends will miss Haydens Lakefront Grill immensely. We were able to have my mother's and my birthday three different times at Haydens in the summer and it was very elegant-staff and food were exceptionally good. I will reminisce these times and others. I remember when Chef Mark was in charge and I called up to ask how to make Chicken Marsala. He invited me to come to Haydens and he would give me his personal tour. It turned out he had made the Chicken Marsala just for me! He then told me to go to the bar AND enjoy the meal. I'll never forget his kindness and his superb excellent customer service. Some of my friends would meet for breakfast and my family would attend happy hour. I will always remember Haydens as thee place to go for any meal and happy hour. When my daughter told me about the closing, she explained how sad she was-then for the next two days, I told my customers at wlork to go to Haydens this Saturday 4-9. Ever since Haydens has been open, I have referred may friends to Haydens, telling them it is the No. 1 eating establishment--excellent food, prompt service and situated by the Tualatin Commons, it was even moreappealing. My family and friends will miss Haydens very much. I give Haydens a 5+ rating based on their excellent food, atmosphere and exceptional customer service. Nancy G.

Amazing service. Best if you reserve seating especially on holidays. The food is fresh, cooked to perfection, flavorful and we always come here for special days. Its not inexpensive, but totally worth the several times a year for something truly special and stupendously delicious.

After waiting at the front register for 4 minutes, I had to walk into the dining room to get a waiter's attention. He asked why I just didn't go into the bar to eat. I explained we wanted to have dinner. He reluctantly showed us to a isolated table on one side. After 5 minutes with know one knowing we were there, I asked if they were still open. He say yes and someone would be right there. At thus point we just got up and left. One one noticed we were leaving Pass this one bye bye

Years ago I ate there often and had no complaints. Recently I have had a few experiences and some were good and some were bad , especially a dry flavorless steak over priced steak. Bill Hayden needs to come back, just sayin'.

Have to agree with Randi T's review. High end prices for a step above Elmer's quality. I had a cocktail which came right away and was done to perfection. It was the one good point. The ambience was a dated family dining atmosphere which surprised me. But the menu appeared so nice with such high prices, we had high hopes that this was a hidden gem. There were 6 of us and we arrived at our reserved time of 5:15 to an empty restaurant. The drinks came. My brother requested a cup of chowder as an app and was informed that they thought they might be out. The first dinner customers for the night and you are maybe out of the one soup you offer?. Not a good sign. After a reminder to check on the chowder, we were told that there was enough for 3 cups. Regardless, the food arrived relatively promptly for 5 out of 6 of us. The 6 th one (me) waited . Of course the rest of the party needed to begin eating while it was warm. Another table that arrived after us was served before I was. When my food did arrive, the server literally reached over my husbands plate as he was getting a forkful to serve me. I motioned to go around him ( as it was so rude!) but she couldn't serve properly because they seated us at a table where they were storing things behind us and she couldn't get back there. Why set up a table where you can't serve your customers properly. In the end the food was mediocre but not bad. All in all it was a diner experience at fine dining prices. Will not return.

Nothing to write home about. The food was decent the staff was nice but extremely unattentive. We had to find someone in the bar to let them know we had arrived for our reservation, our waitress was nice but again disappeared to the bar, where we had to find her to get our check once we were done.

The good: My husband had the wagyu steak, it was good. I wasn't very hungry so I had the wedge salad, it was as expected. We also ordered the $6 bread basket, meh, it really should have been offered for free. No complaints with the service. The less good: the table across from us was close enough to exchange conversation in a normal talking voice. The atmosphere is more of casual, even family style dining vs higher end, romantic couple, night out style dining. The prices also reflect a higher end experience and it definitely was not anything special or above basic dining, The bad: Dessert. Unfortunately ending on such a bad note definitely left a bad taste in our mouth, literally. We ordered the mixed berry cobbler. It was so thick, it was literally like congealed gelatin. It was not edible. Overall: Over priced for what they offer & for the atmosphere it is offered in. We wouldn't likely eat here again.

Stopped by for happy hour with my lovely wife and we had a wonderful time. The service was great and the drinks were very well done. Appetizer menu has a great variety.

The staff were cheerful and genuinely helpful. The atmosphere was nice, modern and clean. The food was great, perfectly cooked. The prices were very reasonable for high caliber food. I don't drink but they did have a good selection of beer, wine and spirits. I highly recommend coming here for dinner.

I was very nice. I was able to make reservations and we had no waiting when we arrived. It was my birthday and they made it special. The food was exceptional good. The butternut squash ravioli with garlic cream sauce was fabulous. I could have eaten two plates of it. I will definitely be back!

I was so excited to try this as room service. Ordered a Cobb salad and 2 drinks. The chicken was dry on my salad but everything else, amazing! Definitely more than I'd want to spend on a meal again. $60+ for one person (tip included)

The service at the bar is awful. I waited for 6 min for the bartender. He was waiting tables too understand this world is DIFFERENT now, but where is the manager...she should be helping not in her office.
