“My breakfast today was absolutely amazing! I had the steak and eggs and it was perfections. 6oz steak medium rare cooked perfectly, potatoes with onions and peppers, 2 over medium eggs cooked perfectly, and a biscuit. Only $16 for steak and eggs!! I didn't even need to season anything, and I like salt! And my mom's breakfast burrito looked great too, she loved it. We both took home goodies from the dessert case - all to die for! My go to for when I want steak and eggs for breakfast, hands down!“
“This little spot has a great vibe, great coffee, great wind, great food and a great staff! Easy to stop in for a to go order or just sit and hang out with friends while enjoying some delicious and healthy lunch or breakfast. I highly recommend and I never miss a chance to visit when in Salem!Dietary restrictions: Tons of options“
“We're a family of 4 and we all finished our breakfast. I'm the only vegan in my family and I loved the tofu scramble and I was happy with their non-dairy creamer options and vegan butter.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and dairy free.Kid-friendliness: Coloring menu, crayons, breakfast plates.“
“The absolute best Iced Mocha I've ever had. And I've been having speciality coffee for 15 years and I buy a lot. I was going for a 2nd, but by the time I was going to swing back by...the Building was about to close. That just says how much the coffee is GOOD. No doubt I'll be back. I'm a big Fan for a first time customer:) Awesome customer service as well.“
“Great lunch spot downtown Salem. It gets crowded, so you have to wait a bit, but the food is worth the wait. I had a chicken salad sandwhich and butternut squash soup. We also had pizza which was cooked to perfection, and a great salad. The service was on point!“
“As people line up across the street for their $6 breakfast drinks at the fancy coffee chain, I go to the humble little place with the plyboard window. Why? Because the service is friendly, the lattes are made well, and I can get a latte AND a muffin or sandwich for less than I’d pay for just a latte at Dutch Bros. Why waste money? I am grateful for this less greedy place. Keep up the good work! ??“
“We were driving through Salem on our way to the coast and stumbled into this coffee shop. So happy we did!! My favorite thing was a sign that said, "we filter coffee, not people." The vibe is very welcoming and we saw a huge variety of people inside. Bagels were excellent and my coffee was perfect (got the Mexican latte). The bathroom was large and clean. Plenty of places to sit and relax. Beautiful art and plants and lots to look at! This is our new favorite place when on our way to the coast!“
“We will be back! The service was wonderful. She allowed my kids to watch her cook and even gave them a snack while we waited for our to go order. The food was delicious. I can't wait to try other empanadas! My husband loved his sandwich and the kids were big fans of the French toast (so was I).“
“So the biggest draw for us with a family member who has an allergy— soy free! Everything we checked was soy free. This is a huge relief. Even the few soy free restaurants we knew about in Portland shut down during COVID. We got the heart shaped “sweetie pies” and a marionberry pie as our guest hasn’t yet had a marionberry. Really good crust, too!“
“Venti was the loveliest server...he rocked out on the Lyre, ive never seen someone more drunk in my life. 10/10 show sad he drank my drinks before they got to me thoA strange man with an eyepatch and blue hair sat brooding in the corner all night“
“If you're looking for an "Above Average Breakfast"...... The Turnaround Cafe should definitely be on your list. A quick drive to the town of Turner ( just south east of Salem) is definitely worth it. I truly do enjoy this restaurant a lot on all levels: atmosphere, service and greet food.“
