Young guy made my wife and I a sandwich. He did great job. He gave us extra onions and lettuce as requested. His boss came in and began chastising him for doing this. She said she had to place an order and things had to last. I felt so bad for the young guy. I'm arras see him. Being treated like that in front of coworkers and guest. This boss should be fired for treating him like that.
The guy working here was so casual...I'm not sure he had a pulse. I'm pretty sure it wasn't just him though as the entire shop had 'that' vibe. It was only 10:30 in the morning and there was hardly any bread, most of the tubs looked empty, and there was no hustle. Whether the shop was understaffed the night before or the employee was unmotivated, it doesn't look like there is a whole lot of expectation here.
