We both had the chicken fried steak dinner and we're very pleased. They had some struggles in the beginning but have improved by leaps and bounds. Will be going back regularly.

The manager was hustling, bussing tables, checking people in/out. Great attitude! It took my waiter awhile to get to me (the restaurant wasn't 100% full, but there were tables of people there). My food was a little "cool" like the butter barely melted on my pancake, but it was still good. I give them a solid 4 out of 5!

It was a busy, busy day at the diner for a Saturday Brunch.Got a seat for a group of 5 within 15 minutes, good selection of brunch items, tasty and exceptional customer service. Server was busy but made it a point to ask for coffee every few minutes.Had healthy options too.

Everybody was all smiles, and very pleasant when we walked in. It was a medium busy Saturday. We’re usually there in the middle of the week. And have a better experience than this. However, the young lady that seated us was attentive, everything was clean and nice. She came and took our order. I ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup. I also asked that the soup come ar the same time my husband‘s burger came. My soup came a full five minutes before his burger. As she set the bowl down, she said his burger will be out in a minute. While I was waiting for him to get his food. I put my spoon in the soup and stirred it a bit and realized that I had was about to pay $8 dollars for broth, a fair amount of noodles, and exactly one very small piece of chicken…… in the chicken noodle soup. It was processed chicken not chicken breast. But that’s fine. And when she came back with my husband‘s burger, I very nicely said hey, there is one piece of chicken in this bowl of chicken noodle soup , I expected 5-7 pieces of chicken in a bowl. She rolled her eyes and said well I gave it a good stir before I scooped it up. And I said, then I’d rather not have it. And she said I’ll go get you some more. I said don’t want more soup. I would like a few more pieces of chicken to add to this. She came back with a cup of soup with a few noodles in it and two more pieces of chicken. As she put it down. She looked at me and said if I did this for everybody in no time there wouldn’t be any chicken left in the soup. And I said, well, possibly, you should be adding considerably more chicken when it’s made. I was very nice. Then took an inordinate length of time to get us our ticket. I did not leave much of a tip. Frustrating.

I usually have fish and chips, I decided to try the pot roast, over salted, roast was in shreds, very few veggies, appearance was like mush, waitress was on the ball, friendly, and attentive. I do not recommend por roast.

I frequently eat biscuits and gravy at gas stations and I sure wish I had done that this time. Biscuit was old and chewy nearly all the way through, not nearly enough gravy, the hashbrowns were old, chewy and sour, the sausage was white and watery. The whole meal appeared as if it had been under a heating lamp for 12 hours. I never leave reviews but this was so awful I felt it necessary.

We met here for breakfast before we had to leave town. We were blown away by the portions of food that you get. And the service was outstanding. The waitress told us about the specials and that's exactly what I ordered. We would definitely eat here again.

A great time and breakfast! This has become our go-to breakfast diner, beating out Elmer's and IHOP. The only thing I wish they would change is adding something like the potato pancakes from Elmer's.
