Food was fine. Definitely a great place if you are in the mood for shrimp. Service was "okay."

Came in to check out the menu since we were walking the shops.Decided to try the fish and shrimp tacos. They are sold individually but the price for what you get is actually pretty spot on. It was two full size tortillas filled with all the fixin’s.Overall the flavor was amazing. Chips and salsa were on point. Even the lemonade did not have the tap water taste that chain restaurants give you.Service was very good. The young lady made sure to keep her eye on us in case we needed anything and she brought me my refill before I finished my first drink which was great. Will definitely be coming back for another meal soon!P.S. they do not have any birria like the sign on the window advertised but I didn’t mind once I tried the tacos.9/10 would recommend.

I have been here quite a few times. The last two times I have been here the service has been slow.We got here at 5:10ish pm on a Sunday. The right side of the place was full, so we waited and waited to be seated, and not a single person acknowledged us. We saw an empty table and helped ourselves. 15 minutes the menu was dropped off at our table. No water, no chips, salsa, etc. Another 10-15 min went by and someone came to take our order. We order drinks, and food at once. We asked for chips, salsa, and water, we were told they were out of chips and salsa. These same things happened over and over as customers arrived. People waited for a long time. Some waited and some left. Those who decided to stay experienced the same wait we did. At around 7pm my friend and I were ready to go. We asked for to go boxes. 2 to go boxes were dropped off along with the water that we requested when we arrived. BTW, the only bathrooms working were the women bathroom and it was out of soap and paper towels. Overall not a good experience.

A lot of mixed reviews but in my experience all went well. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and it was out soon. It was also the middle of the day on a weekday. Keep up the good work.

Horrible service. I have been there twice and both times service has been terrible. The first time I attributed the bad service to it being busy, but second time was semi empty and no change. We did not get acknowledged when we walked in, the waitresses, yes there were multiple by the kitchen area, didn't check on us to see if we needed anything. Worst dining experience, I have been to busy restaurants and have gotten better service. Would definately not recommend to friends.

Great food. Could be a little faster on the service but if you have time, the food will not disappoint.

I don’t expect waitresses to treat me like a king, but, at the minimum, to be polite and friendly. I asked to add two additional drinks and the waitress did not respond and said, que quiere with an uncomfortable look. My wife noticed it, too. Also, the food was good but the portions are a lot less than most seafood restaurants. I felt awkward but had a good time with our party of 10. The michelada and cantarito were perfect.

Friendly, attentive service. Interesting modern contemporary decor (as opposed to something historical and "authentico" from a hundred years ago). We stopped for lunch. We were headed to Subway next door, but I suggested trying Las Islas instead. We ordered the fish and shrimp tacos: two of each and shared. It was too early for a bigger meal. Very good. The tortillas even had their own star quality! We will go again.Kid-friendliness: They had balloons and decorations up for Father's Day.Parking: Conventional strip mall parking. Good capacity.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.

Literally waited almost an hour for our food and I get it, most places are short staffed, but it’s not the waiting that I minded. A few girls working there seemed like they hate their job and it showed in their service, literally just semi threw the food on our table… but over all the food was pretty good.
