after decades of eating this pizza I unfortunately have to rate it 1 star because of the new dough they use, it has the constancy and flavor of a tortilla that's been left on the counter for a month, I LOVED the pizza here since I was a kid, I'm hoping they read all of these bad reviews and find a new supplier for the dough so we can have our old Charlie K's pizza back

Your pizza used to be the best in the Lehigh Valley. Now it is horrible the crust that you were using. They should close that place down where every you are getting the crust. You're old cross that you've used to use. What's the best? The stuff you have now is garbage. I wouldn't give it to my dog.

I have bought pizza kits here for a lot of years. Not going to anymore ! I know you had to find a new supplier for your pizza crusts, Bad job. The new crusts are terrible. Thin but not crispy, horrible texture, really bad tasting. Please find a better crust that is closer to your old ones for your kits. I want to continue as a customer, but not with these crusts. A unhappy customer !!

Just bought a pizza kit. Contains 3 crusts, sauce and we got extra cheese. I have always loved their pizza BUT we just made one and the crust tastes freezer burnt, it is gummy and we couldn’t even cut through it. $25 down the drain. Sadly we won’t be back to purchase anymore. This literally and figuratively left a bad taste in our mouths. The service is always great so they still have that going for them. I hope they see this review and check their crusts from now on. ☹️

I usually love the pizza kits but not anymore. I really was looking forward to it but when I took the crust out of the bag I realized it was thinner and small holes in. Ok I made 2 pizza's. I was so very disappointed. Couldn't understand why the last couple times we walked by Charlie's pizza not one customer at counter. Now I see why. No more for me. Taste like cardboard. (Awful). Understand we shop at farmers market about twice a month. We sometimes get a slice of pizza and soda while shopping now I know why it just hasn't tasted right. Almost gave a one star but the sauce and cheese are ok. Service was good. But put the sauce and cheese on cardboard flavored crust. Nope you got 2 stars. I will be asking if the crust is still Awful. I pray you change back to original crust.

Always loved the pizza as a kid and young adult. I picked up a pizza kit 3/16/2023 I haven’t been there in years. Now I understand all the bad reviews. Wanted to see for myself, and yes the recipe has definitely changed. Sorry to say I won’t be buying from there again.

Have been going to Charlie K forever and about a year ago they changed crust and we didn’t care for it. 1 year later we decided to try it again. The crust is horrible and a insult to charge people for that paper thin awful crust. Charlie K was never cheap but decently priced but it is outrageous now and not good. Do yourself a favor and go buy three Tombstone’s for less money and much better. I hope they address the crust issue and find a new supplier because if not they will be the next Allentown staple to fold.
