Decided to try this restaurant for the 1st time. Ordered the arroz con gandules (yellow rice with pigeon peas), and pernil. Also, ordered an empanada. All were very good, and the portions were large. Will definitely return.

My amazing husband brought me food from this delicious restaurant. The portions are generous and the flavor is on point. The pork falls apart in your mouth. The eggplant and the sweet plantains were delicious! Counting down the days til we can visit El Tipico. It is definitely worth it!

El Tipico Restaurant serves authentic Dominican dishes at great prices serving the local community. It has a line of foods for quick order and go, but they also serve made to order foods that are just delightful. We ordered the mofongo, both in pepper steak and with shrimp. Both were delicious.
