The food was bland, including a duck dish that was so tough it was almost impossible to cut. The chowder we ordered arrived cold, and the wedge salad had hardly any blue cheese or taste. Overall, the food itself is what made for a disappointing dining experience. Although the restaurant allowed us to order individual appetizer and entrée items from the Valentine’s menu instead of the full set, they ended up charging us more for these two items than the set would have cost. I cannot recommend this restaurant, despite having been eager to try it after hearing positive reviews

We ordered a few cocktails and for food, we got the Roasted Cauliflower ($10), Pesto Arancini ($12), Stroganoff ($18), and Butternut Squash Risotto ($15). Food was absolutely delicious and the Butternut Squash Risotto was the tastiest dish on our table.Service was excellent, and food arrived within 25-minutes of ordering. Noise levels were on the lower end, and the festive decorations definitely helped set the mood! Overall, we had a very good experience, and will highly recommend this place to friends and family!Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian small plates

Outstanding service and food. I wish they would keep their menu more up to date. On numerous occasions, I ordered bourbon and found that they had been out for awhile. No big deal because the selection is huge and easy to pick another. In my opinion, Best spot in Allentown!

We were looking for a great place to take a dear friend for her birthday. Pennsylvania Rye Company did not disappoint! Everything was really lovely. The atmosphere was beautiful, the cocktails were delicious, and you could taste all of that “from scratch” goodness in every bite of the food. Even better, my friend really enjoyed her birthday dinner! We are already talking about coming back again!

Food: C I got the oysters which were good. The lobster bisque was bland and not worth it. The main course was duck which was good, but over cooked. It should be rare. Presentation: A+ Everything was amazing looking Overall: B I'll be back because this is our first visit. Nice place!
