“First time going there yesterday and I will never go back . Bartender had a problem with me but I have no idea why. Halfway through my drink she approached me and said the owner called and said I had to leave then walked away without giving me a reason why . If drinking and talking to people offended her maybe she is in the wrong profession. I know some bar owners and they would never deal with their bartenders treating patrons that way not good for business . like I said I will never return and I will be sure to get word of mouth out to people to stay out of this bar. One last note I have never had a problem with any bartender before maybe this one needs a class on how to treat customers especially ones that aren't even causing trouble.”

“We were driving thru the area looking for a new style of food to try. Gyro places have always peaked my palate, so we thought we'd give them a try. The restaurant was very easy to find with convenient parking steps away. You walk in, grab a menu, and find a seat. We were greeted immediately upon entering. They had 5 tables (a booth, 2 half booth/half tables, and 2 6-tops. Due to their window advertisements, it looks like they do a lot of deliveries. My husband and I both ordered the chicken souvlaki. They came out so fast! They were wrapped beautifully, loaded with chicken, and fresh. The tzatiki sauce was rich and creamy. We would have both preferred the chicken to be hotter. I think the sauce may have cooled it down some, as well. We also ordered the Cretan fries to share, but we were both too full to eat them. We'd definitely go back again.”

“Had to give The Lab five stars due to the absolutely out of this world food! My husband and I travel all over the country, mainly seeking out destination restaurants and let me tell you the food here is on par with that of the some most prestigious places across the country. My husband said he would rate the ribeye in his top five EVER! Other dishes are creative and delicious as well. Very cool atmosphere, makes you forget you are in Washington while you are dining. I will mention service could have been much more polished to match the food and ambiance. The majority of our question about the dishes where met with an “I’m not sure” from our server. Not really acceptable to not know the menu frontward and backwards when trying to deliver a fine dining experience. However the quality of the food and cocktails helped us over look the lack luster service. So ecstatic that this restaurant is in our neighborhood. Blows away ANYTHING Pittsburgh has to offer! We will return soon!”

“Chicco Baccello is the best coffee shop in Washington PA and I’m willing to die on that hill. The atmosphere is unique and cozy, the service is excellent and the food/coffee is outstanding. I’m a regular at chiccos and I must say that Liam and Connor are dream team baristas that genuinely just want to make peoples days a little brighter. For example, as a creature of habit, I get the same drink every week (Italian almond latte with oat milk IYKYK). One day Liam had my drink waiting for me before I even ordered. Is there anything better than that?! I think not. If you’re looking for great coffee look no further, if you’re looking for a mood booster, you’ve also come to the right place. MORE ESPRESSO LESS DEPRESSO!”

“April 20242 seniors. Carry-out on a Sunday evening. We're very particular. We don't patronize chain restaurants. We look for places like Ala Maria's, home cooking, independently owned. Maria is in the kitchen, cooking. Literally. It was almost closing time on Sunday evening and the place was empty because Maria had been doing carry-out all day. She greeted us and told us what was still available. Most of her menu was sold out. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs and I ordered the veggie lasagna. Her tomato sauce is perfect. Not too thick, spiced just right. It "coated" the pasta perfectly. The meatballs were good if a little bland for our taste as we like garlic and lots of it. I loved the lasagna, lots of texture, and taste other than just the taste of pasta. The accompanying white Italian bread, and basic salad were fine but nothing special. No deserts as they were sold-out. We'll be back.”

“This place is a diamond in the rough. Everything homemade..you could see in the marinara onions, basil amd tomatoes. The stuffed Hot pepper with homemade sausage was amazing. The fried Zucchini was perfectly lightly breaded and the provolone wheel was just as good!Not to mention the homemade pies..the peanut butter pie was beyond anything iv we tasted. What a great place to eat.The Manager aka the Chef came out to talk to us and he was super friendly and happy to have us there..”

It has everything: produce, dairy, baked goods, breads, honeys & syrups, cheeses, etc, etc.. we have been very happy with everything we've bought over 5-6 visits now!!! Mediterra Bread and the Mini Pie place are fantastic!!!! There's also always at least 1 food truck, plus Live music!! And the best program we've ever come across for Low Income customers: for every $1 you swipe on SNAP you receive $2 to spend at the market!!!
